This is a cute and modern cafe located in the plaza next to Koba Tofu Grill. It's spacious, and there's plenty of tables and chairs to socialize and also play board games! (BYOG = bring your own games)
We ordered the Korean citron tea, which is a traditional tea derived from the yuzu fruit (a type of citrus fruit) that is mixed with sugar and honey and sometimes prepared as marmalade. You can drink this type of tea either hot or cold. Overall, the tea was very sweet, but you can dilute it down with some water. But it is a great refreshing drink for the hot weather.
It's hard to find places in the OC where you can enjoy drinks and also have ample amount of space (esp tables and chairs) for board games. This is one of the spots I recommend!!
I'm a loyal customer to Starbucks and I was disappointed by my visit here. As always, my go-to drinks are my passion tea apple juice and green tea lemonade. The barista told me that they are out of apple juice and lemonade. I think this location needs to be more efficient with their supply stocks. I have never been to a Starbucks location that has ever run out of anything (except for maybe cup holders).
Suffice to say, I was disappointed but I wanted to get my lemonade fix. So I decided to try out their new artisan handcrafted sodas. The flavors are: root beer, golden gingerale, and lemon-ale. My bf got the golden ginger ale and he liked it. I liked my lemon-ale as well. Both drinks tasted light and refreshing. It kind of reminded me of Izze soda. They don't use corn syrup or preservatives. All sodas are caffeine-free.
Despite this, the baristas were friendly and I enjoyed my drink. However, I still have one star docked off because of their stocking issue.
Starbucks, you never fail to disappoint me! My friend and I usually come here to get our caffeine fix before class. What I love about this location is that they have a drive-thru! It can get pretty busy.
As always, my iced green tea lemonade & passion tea apple juice are always refreshing! Love Starbucks! =)
I've been a loyal customer to this Starbucks branch simply because it is conveniently located near my house. I have to say that there have been positive and negative experiences during my visits here. Depending on the barista, you can meet someone who is bright, jovial, and friendly, and someone who just wants to get your order and drink out of the way.
As always, I like their iced teas and ice caramel flan latte. This place can be busy throughout the day. One thing that I noticed during my visits here, is the inconsistent pace of making drinks. Sometimes they're fast and sometimes they're slow (depending on who is working and the number of customers).
All I am going to say is that it shouldn't take too long to make an iced green tea lemonade or passion tea apple juice. My sister is a barista at another location and they can make their drinks faster in a more efficient manner despite the long lines.
But will this make me stop going? Probably not, because I love Starbucks and I love to show my support for the franchise. I'm pretty sure management can do something about it and make everything more organized. That's my main concern.
Other than that, cheers! (holds up my Venti iced green tea lemonade) *
I came here for the simple convenience of the drive-thru. Oh, thank God for drive-thrus.
The entrance of the drive-thru is inconspiciously hidden in the BACK. If you drive towards the front of the store to get to the drive-thru, you will only meet a dead end and will need to exit the lot. But other than the set-up of the place, staff is nice.
As always - this place NEVER disappoints me! I highly recommend their iced tea drinks with the honey aloe vera chunks! My usual is the lychee iced tea w/ aloe vera and it is refreshing and tasty! Another honorable mention is the pomegranate iced tea w/ aloe vera!
For anyone who is into iced teas, definitely give this place a chance and they will win your heart all over! :)
Caffeine? Check. Drive-thru? Check. Satisfaction? Check. :]
Parking can be a bit tricky since the lot is small, but that's why the drive-thru exists haha. I'm pretty sure once you get your drink, you will forget all about it. :)
I came here one night for their buy 1 get 1 free holiday drink deal. The staff is friendly and one barista struck a conversation with me and my boyfriend. This location is a bit small, but quite cozy.
