This Marriott is in an excellent location. There are many, many options for food and shopping as this Marriott is adjacent to a two huge malls. The service was fine, the rooms were clean. They could've used a few more outlets in the room though. The elevators were a touch of a challenge; at one point during my stay they were actually ALL out of service for maintenance (I believe they used a new technology that may still have a little bug or two) but the staff were vigilant in escorting us to the service elevators so we could get to our rooms. I was very happy about that, especially considering that I was on the 30th floor! It was an extremely minor inconvenience, I'm only mentioning it because of how nice the staff were in accommodating me if I needed to leave my room. No problems to report, I'd love to stay here again!
Very nice hotel in Downtown Fayetteville. Rooms were quite pristine, with extremely comfortable beds. Power options were plentiful. It has the look of a hotel that has been recently renovated, all fixtures and furniture looked brand new.
42-inch flatscreen TV, clean bathroom, good water pressure from the shower.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It always makes a huge impression on me how I'm greeted when I go to check in.
One note about the beds; they are in a recessed frame and your shin may or may not be a victim of a little bump every now and then. But, speaking for myself, the extreme comfort of the bed itself made up for that!
This is an old, historic building especially for California, about 100 years old. It is located in the heart of Berkeley, up on a hill perhaps about a 30-minute drive from Oakland International Airport. The building is completely white, and sort of looks like something you'd see in a suspense movie. Lots of gables, eaves and old double-hung windows.
Check-in went smoothly, the staff were all nice.
The rooms are obviously old, and there is a woeful shortage of outlets available. The beds were comfortable though, and it seems like the bathroom has recently been renovated, at least in my room.
Valet parking was extremely efficient, but the cars are located within view. Still, when I got my car at 345am it was chilly, and the parking valet had the heat on and the seat warmers going! Nice!
This hotel is a pleasant surprise. There is a medium-sized refrigerator in the room, and the room itself is large and airy with a nice bathroom. Check-in was fast and pleasant, again all staff very friendly.
Rooms are very clean and there are plenty of outlets available for your devices.
Parking is FREE, always a huge plus.
This hotel very conveniently located by Target Field and another plus, public transportation lets you off pretty close to the hotel. The hotel itself was just fine; clean, well-appointed, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. There are plenty of outlets available for your electronics which is becoming more and more important to our daily lives. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
This is a very nice Marriott located right by GM in Downtown Detroit. The rooms are pretty clean, service is great and amenities are definitely adequate.
Parking is reasonable at $25/day for valet and anywhere between $15-$20/day for self-parking.
The hotel is close to Greektown which is a great little area for grabbing a bite, as well as a couple of casinos if you like to gamble.
The sports arenas, Comerica Park (Tigers) and Ford Field (Lions) are walking distance, only about 1 mile or so away. There is also a food court and some stores for shopping connected right to the hotel. Love that convenience.
This hotel is just fine; located conveniently near both Disneyland AND the Angels ballpark, it's in an area of town that has plenty of restaurant choices.
Hotel staff friendly upon check-in along with the nice, lovely, warm, homemade chocolate-chip cookie you get with your room keys! :)
Rooms were clean, outlets by the bedstand, reasonable self-parking rates considering it is California and in between some pretty popular tourist destinations.
Would have no worries staying here if my business takes me this way again.
Friendly staff, Standard room is very nice, 48 inch flat screen TV!
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of outlets; the only improvement I'd make there is to make the location of the outlets a bit more convenient, like closer to the bed instead of across the room.
In-room coffee, a lovely swimming pool, free parking.
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. And yes, I did get my signature warmed Doubletree Welcome Cookie! :)
There are airport hotels, and then, ther is the Element. I was really stunned to find how nice this place turned out to be. Located about 3 miles from DFW airport, the Element is a little offshoot of the Westin chain. So now, my surprise is less as I am very happy when I'm put into a Westin hotel.
The rooms are really like studio apartments; a full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, stove, dinnerware, glassware and flatware...plenty of drawers and cabinets to put stuff, very streamlined, modern design with hardwood & carpeted floors. And, of course, the signature Heavenly Beds! Very very nice!
Free parking, free wifi, free airport shuttle will pick you up and drop you off. Price EXTREMELY reasonable at about $85/night.
Staff were friendly and professional; I'd be completely happy to stay here for one night or multiple nights. Highly, highly recommend!
Kimpton, Kimpton, where for art thou Kimpton? This one was in Miami, FL and unsurprisingly lived up to every expectation I have come to look forward to when staying at a Kimpton hotel.
Staff very friendly and very helpful, easy to see that morale is good here.
Outlets aplenty, by the bedside stand.
Free WiFi if you join their loyalty program which is absolutely free. Not only that, but if you join you get a $10-$15 (depending on Kimpton location) voucher to raid the mini bar or use at their restaurants.
Rooms, as always, clean and well-appointed, designed in a nice un-antiseptic industrial way as many hotels are.
Wish I could stay at Kimptons every time I travel. EPIC did not disappoint.
If it is possible to be in love with a hotel, this would be the one. I've stayed here a number of times over the years, and every time I come here, the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, the rooms meticulously clean and well-taken care of.
Location of this pet-friendly hotel is convenient, just a block and a half away from Penn Station.
The Kimpton hotel chain offers a wonderful perk for their "In-Touch" loyalty program members (It is free) with a "Raid The Mini-Bar" feature. Most Kimptons you can consume $10 worth of mini-bar fare for free, but here the RTMB threshhold is $15.
Rooms have plenty of outlets for your electronics, and the beds are SOOOOOO comfortable!! Shower has excellent water pressure. I always hope my company puts me up here when I have occasion to be in NYC. Bravo, Kimpton Eventi!!
This is a lovely historic hotel in Downtown Seattle. The rooms are nicely done with outlets on the bed stand...Yay!!!!
Upon check in, staff was courteous enough, but they all seemed a bit overworked possibly? It was Thanksgiving weekend, maybe that's why I didn't feel exactly welcomed as I normally do when checking into a hotel of this caliber.
Valet parking was a breeze, those folks were extremely accommodating and very friendly. The time they gave me for getting my car was always earlier than they said it would be which is always most appreciated! One day I even got a little bag of milk and home made chocolate chip cookies on the passenger seat. A sweet gesture!
Along with the multitude of restaurants in the area, there is one connected to the hotel called "Shuckers". I HIGHLY recommend this place; the atmosphere is warm and slightly upscale but very casual at the same time. Very nice!
This is a fantastic hotel. Rooms are very clean and very updated. Outlet by your bedside, dimmer on the table lamp.
Personnel extremely nice and go out of their way to be helpful
Water pressure for shower is excellent, though there is no way to reduce the flow if you want it a little less forceful.
Rooms themselves are also very spacious and well-appointed.
Located in a convenient area of DC, close to lots of monuments and such.
This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are clean, well-appointed with plenty of outlets for electronics. The bed is extremely comfortable with soft pillows (my preference) that surround me in luxurious comfort.
As you would expect at a Four Seasons, the staff are extremely friendly and will try to accommodate pretty much anything you may need. It is also very convenient to DFW airport, so that is a bonus for a road-warrior like myself.
For you golfers out there, there is a lovely golf course on the property as well.
If you have a vehicle and self-park, it is free to do so.
I LOVE this hotel. It is one of the most comfortable, clean hotels I stay in on a semi-regular basis. Everyone is extremely professional and friendly.
The beds are wonderful with amazing, soft pillows you can just sink into and ease your way into oblivious sleep!
Excellent water pressure in the bathrooms which are also spotless and well-appointed. There are plenty of outlets for your electronics in the rooms as well.
The location of the hotel is pretty convenient to anywhere you need to get to in Philadelphia, both with street access and highway access.
I hope when business brings me to Philadelphia, my company continues to put me up in this fantastic place.
First impressions: AMAZING service, and a bed you can sink into and dream your life away.
This Four Seasons does not disappoint at all. The rooms are clean and updated nicely, lots of places to plug in your devices.
The water pressure for the shower is absolutely phenomenal, one of the best I've had in any hotel.
Convenient to the 101 highway, close to lots of good restaurants. Parking is extremely convenient and reasonably priced, especially for a Four Seasons and for California; just $12/night self-parking, and $22/night for valet parking.
Every single member of the staff was friendly and totally helpful.
You know, these little suite hotels are really quite comfortable. There are plenty of amenities in the hotel except for room service, but the location of this particular Hampton Inn is near all kinds of restaurants within walking distance.
There is a medium-sized refrigerator in the room, a coffee maker and free internet, and there is free breakfast in the morning down in the lobby area.
Plenty of outlets for your electronics in convenient places.
When I walked into my room, I was immediately greeted with "Newly Renovated Room Smell". Most excellent! :)
Very easy 15-minute drive from DFW, this hotel is convenient to the Ballpark in Arlington and Six Flags.
Staff were exceedingly friendly upon check-in. Room is nicely appointed with a large flatscreen TV and plenty of well-placed outlets for your electronics.
Coffee maker in room as well.
This hotel has free lot parking. Always a nice plus.
This hotel is located very conveniently right downtown, near all kinds of wonderful restaurants including the unparalleled Graeter's Ice Cream shop, and it is also walking distance to both Paul Brown Stadium and Great American Ballpark.
The hotel itself is an old historic building, but all the rooms have been updated to "today's" standards. Outlets, nice TV, comfortable beds. There is a wonderful restaurant connected to the hotel called Orchids; see my review.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating to any request you may have.
This hotel is located conveniently right next to the XL Center (Formerly the Hartford Civic Center). The only reason for 3 stars instead of 2 is that the staff was so incredibly accommodating and friendly.
The rooms are quite careworn and smell of Febreze (eek). But, I stop short of calling the rooms gross. What they really need is just use a sprucing up with a bit of an upgrade to the bathrooms and the carpeting. Then they could forgo the strange-smelling disinfectant. :)
I have no problem with the Hilton in Hartford, it is very easy to get to, and considering the downtrodden state of the city of my birth, there are even actually a few establishments around that are still open that you can go get a cup of coffee or a decent meal.
Clean room? Check.
Decent water pressure in shower? Check.
Plenty of outlets for electronics? Check
Reasonable parking and available self-parking? Check.
Friendly staff? Check.
Decent cable TV? Check.
No problems with this hotel, it served just fine.
As always, I am a huge fan of Kimpton hotels. This hotel is located extremely conveniently one block away from the light rail, which takes you to and from Sea-Tac airport.
Rooms are nicely done, with plenty of outlets placed most excellently right by the bed, always a huge plus! Rooms and bathrooms are also very clean and obviously tended to with care. Water pressure for the shower is good.
Staff were friendly and very engaging, also in keeping with my experiences at any of the Kimpton hotels I've been fortunate enough to stay, and I hope my company continues to put us up at this fantastic chain whenever possible.
This is an average hotel. Rooms were OK, nothing special, but they were clean. My bathroom was about the size of a closet, but it served.
One odd note, their elevators have a keypad where you input the number of your floor, and it will assign you an elevator to take! Very different, and a little disconcerting to know that you are blatantly in control by the whim of a computer! Once inside the car, there are no buttons, but of course I looked to push my floor every time I stepped in! LOL!!
Service was friendly enough, no real complaints...it was what it was, a hotel.
The one, immediate amenity I loved about this Hilton were the pillows. Soft, mushy, lovely pillows you just sink into. My own personal preference. Bed itself was comfortable as well. Very, very convenient location and very easy to find.
Free parking, free wifi.
Rooms clean, decently appointed if a touch careworn, but not enough to knock down my 4 stars to 3!
Staff were better than great at check-in. Extremely friendly and truly seemed to want to help with whatever request you may have.
Very nice hotel, very nice employees. Hotel Monaco is located in a fantastic part of Chicago, minutes walk to many interesting sites and some wonderful restaurants.
This hotel is pet-friendly and welcomes your puppy with open paws!
The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. GREAT water pressure in the shower, always a bonus! There are also plenty of outlets for all your electronics. I hope my company continues to put us up at this wonderful hotel.
I stayed here a couple of years ago and was a bit disappointed; the rooms were pretty careworn; not what I expected from a Kimpton Hotel.
I can now happily report that the rooms have all been renovated with, in my opinion, great success. Even though the room I happened to be in itself was small it made no difference at all. The space was used in such a clever way I didn't feel at all claustrophobic. Comfortable beds, nicely appointed, very clean and yes, the all-important outlets by the bedstand.
The hotel itself is located in a fantastic area of San Francisco; near some phenomenal restaurants and walking distance to Union Square.
Staff were very friendly in all respects and morale seemed very high. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to San Francisco.
Once again, Kimpton Hotels deliver. Nice hotel located in an historic, old post office building. Rooms are fine, comfortable bed. If you belong to their loyalty program which is free, you get free high-speed internet and a $10 credit to "raid the mini-bar". Love that!
As with most Kimpton Hotels, service always with a smile. Everyone is very helpful and seem to be very happy to be working there.
Extremely convenient and easy to get to; it is 1/2 a block from the Metro station and less than a block away from the Verizon Center and some pretty great restaurants.
I hope my company continues to put me up here when I'm in town for business.
I really enjoy staying at Kimpton hotels. Getting here (or, in my opinion, ANyWHERE in DC) is a bit of a challenge. When DC was conceived, it was planned out so as to be most confusing for the enemy to navigate. They definitely succeeded! But, be patient, use your nav and you should be fine :).
The rooms are well-appointed with phenomenal placement of outlets for your electronics. Comfortable beds, lots of amenities; if you join their loyalty program you get free stuff, like free internet, and a $10 "Raid The Mini-Bar" credit. In other words, go into the minibar, and if you choose something that is $10 or cheaper, it is free for you.
Water pressure here is pretty decent. Parking is valet only, so leave yourself time; the space is limited to where they deliver your car. The ticket says to call 30 min. in advance, and I suggest you do so.
The staff are wonderful; on my most recent stay, I was using my blowdryer and BLAM!! All the power went out in my room! Using my cell phone, I called the hotel, told them what happened and someone was at my room to fix the problem within 5 minutes! If that wasn't good enough, that evening I received a fruit and cheese plate with a full bottle of wine by way of apology for a fuse blowing!
Great hotel in a great location; lots of restaurants to choose from, just look them up on Yelp and have a wonderful evening!
I was happy to see my company was putting me up at a Kimpton Hotel. I am very happy to report that this Kimpton did not disappoint.
Room and bathroom nicely appointed and very clean, outlets by the bed stand for your electronics, comfortable beds. What more do you need?
Valet parking is extremely reasonable here given the location; a little less than $40/day.
All staff were friendly, professional and available to help for whatever request you may have.
Looking forward to my next stay here!
This hotel is located in downtown Green Bay. The rooms were very nice, with a separate bedroom/kitchen/living room setup much like an Embassy Suites, only much larger. There's a sink, a fridge and a pretty large table, along with a nice chaise-style sofa with a 42" TV.
As for the bedroom, there are outlets close to the bedstand, and the room itself and bathroom are clean. You also get a nice little loofah to use when you take a shower. Comfortable beds, too.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, no problems there at all.
Free parking lot on-site, always a nice plus.
Here again is one of those smallish, extended-stay type of places.
This Hyatt Place is not too new but you wouldn't know it. The rooms are kept very clean and everything in the rooms are continually upgraded to decent technical standards. The room is kind of like a studio apartment; a large living-room type of area and a separate, connected bedroom. There is also a little fridge in the room if you want to buy some food or store leftovers. Very nice!
Plenty of outlets available for your electronics, free WiFi, free parking.
Staff is very friendly! Always a plus!
Parking is free.
The Hyatt Regency in Denver is a very nice hotel. Rooms were well-appointed, though I was a bit disappointed that there were no outlets convenient to the bedside stand, at least in my room. A small thing perhaps, but so very helpful.
Staff were all extremely nice and professional.
There is self-parking readily available for about $10 less per day than valet.
I like this hotel fine, but it could use a little renovation, or at least some new carpeting. The rooms are fine, but outlet placement isn't the most convenient. Having said that, there are definitely enough of them, just awkward to get to if you want to charge your phone and not have to go across the room to retrieve it.
Registered guests are given free internet access. Love that!
My room smelled a bit too much of Febreze, or whatever that 'hotel smell' is. I believe they use it when someone smokes in the room previous to your own arrival...wish they'd find a less obnoxious scent, a nice citrus perhaps? :)
The location is phenomenal, easy to get to from the airport and very convenient to some great restaurants and entertainment.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, answered any and all questions I had.
Beds are comfortable, no problems there at all!
I must admit, when I first found out I was staying here I was a bit leery...this hotel used to be the Adam's Mark, then bought and renovated by Hyatt. The Adam's Mark walls were so thin I could hear the person in the room next to me taking a shower.
BUT...that is no longer an issue here.
My room was fantastic. Very clean, large and roomy, with comfortable beds and the always-appreciated outlets by the nightstand.
I was treated to a beautiful view of the Arch. It was one of the best views from a hotel I've ever had, and as I travel more than 200,000 miles per year, that is saying something! On a weekend such as this I usually end up with a lovely view of a brick wall or a parking garage! :)
Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel was extremely busy as there was quite a sports festival going on in St. Louis this particular weekend. The World Series AND the Monday Night Football game. Not once were any of the staff harried or brusque. Everything was seamless. Great job, Hyatt!!
Wishing for that half-star option. This hotel is in a phenomenal location, right across from the Plaza shops and restaurants. Tons of shops and restaurants of every type to suit your fancy.
The hotel itself needs some updating. The room I was in was a touch dingy, with a small television...am I just spoiled? But having said that, each room has a little balcony which is always a nice perk, and though the room was careworn it was definitely clean, no problems there.
I went to 4 stars because the location is truly outstanding, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and self-parking was FREE in the parking garage connected to the hotel.
Check-in was easy, hotel staff very friendly. Rooms are pretty standard fare though the room I had did boast a little sitting area with it's own television, but other than that nothing special, Outlets for electronics are not near the bed unfortunately. But, the room was clean so far as I could tell! :)
Hotel is located pretty much in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, and very convenient to places such as the Bradley Center. It is right by the river, and I know when the river isn't frozen over it is probably a beautiful view.
I love this hotel. The location is hard to beat; convenient to Times Square and the MSG area both.
Staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
Plenty of outlets in nicely decorated, clean rooms, and large, clean bathrooms.
The hotel is also very quiet, in other words, well-insulated. Didn't hear any traffic noises or adjoining room noises. Very nice! I hope my company continues to use this hotel for our business.
For an extremely busy airport hotel, this Marriott isn't bad at all. Of much help have been recent upgrades and freshening of the rooms.
One major drawback, and surprising considering we're talking about New York City, is the absence of public transportation anywhere close. Perhaps this is because the airport is nearby, and the cabbies wouldn't like it too much?
The staff are friendly, self-parking is available and very reasonably priced for NYC ($12.00/day), and the rooms are well-appointed with a coffee-maker and plenty of outlets for your electronics.
The renovations went a long way; my feet no longer stick to the carpeting in the rooms, wide-screen televisions have been put into place and the bathrooms are clean.
This hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Charlotte, across from a decent-sized shopping area.
The rooms were fine, but the walls were a touch thin.
The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
My room was just fine, clean and well-appointed, outlets for all your electronics where they need to be.
Valet parking was great; I never had to wait for my car beyond when I requested it for. All of the valet staff seemed to have high morale; I know this is a strange comment but I found it so refreshing I had to mention it here.
Nice hotel located right in Downtown Fort Worth. Convenient to many restaurants, with a few located right in the hotel definitely worth selecting for your meal. I did go to Bob's Chophouse and was very impressed by the food and service.
Rooms were clean but outlets, though available, not very convenient to the bed.
Check in was pleasant, staff very friendly. Valet parking on site, there is a self-park option around the corner from the hotel.
Hotel is also pretty conveniently located near major highways. About a 35-minute drive from DFW, give or take.
