Even though it's notoriously overpriced, it keeps me coming back.
It's the default pearl tea place when you're just in the mood for boba but don't want to venture over a mile to get it. I've mostly tried their almond milk tea (duhh), california green tea, and iced rose tea. Sometimes their drinks can be a little too sweet, which is one of the reasons why I try to space out my Cha visits. Actually, most of the time I come here it's for the food. I recommend the curry chicken, curry tofu, and the orange tofu. With each dish you get a choice of rice or noodles, as well as corn and a salad. They also have sriracha packets in the store, a major plus (:
While I like the chill atmosphere Cha provides, the store can get really crowded at times. It can be pretty challenging to find a seat inside, and while there's lots of tables outside as well, when it's cold it might just be better to get your drinks/food to go.
Despite Cha's deliciousness, I have to knock off a star for the price and over-the-top customer service. Sure. it's nice to repeatedly interact with the workers when you enter, order, while you eat, and leave, but it wears off after the first couple of visits. Sometimes, they ask me if I need anything SO MUCH, it makes me feel like I'm being treated as if I'm five years old...not joking.
Definitely coming in and out of here when I get that occasional almond milk tea/curry craving, but not for much else.
