Adeedo bought out Fisher Plumbing who I trusted and worked for many years. They told me on the phone that they were still Fisher Plumbing...but that this is not so!!! They have too many coordinators and project managers inter mingling in the project. There was a lot of miscommunications, with very little follow up. I had to keep calling them to get updates and rescheduling the work. They damaged my wood floor and because the communication was so difficult and no follow through....I finally gave up. They didn't really care about my damaged floor. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is not the same Fisher plumbing it used to be.
Of course they wouldn't quote an approximation over the phone for a water heater install only and when an Adee van shows up, the guy opens a book and quotes me $750 plus extra for any parts
Needless to say that Fisher is off my list to recommend to anyone. -

I find all these excellent reviews bogus as all of them only reviewed this scummer plummer once. Overpriced nonsense on a water heater. Will never forget buddy. Keep writing bogus reviews to cover up the truth.

I too have been using Fisher Plumbing for the last few years and with mixed results. I actually met Paul once when he came to my house in response to them seriously dropping the ball on a missed appointment. He was a good, knowledgeable guy, but he is certainly sub-contracting out work and the pricing is not standardized.
Today I called for a quote to replace an 8' section of gas pipe in my backyard. Someone in an Adeedoo van showed up. When I asked about the van, the guy said Fisher(?) had just bought the company and they "haven't peeled the sticker off yet". Then quoted $2,300 from a book to "install new gas line and appliance". Needless to say I told him I needed to get a second opinion.
I think I'm done with Fisher Plumbing (or whomever they are). -

Not impressed with New Fisher Plumbing: I used the services of the Old Fisher Plumbing (under Paul), many times and for many properties; I am a property manager, but New Fisher Plumbing does not meet my expectations. I called to have my storms drains snaked, after the rain. Old Fisher plumbing would have snaked the blockage (cleared roots) and I was happy. New fisher plumbing diagnosed that I had blockages & then gave me two outrageous bid options to remedy and then charged me their service fee for the diagnosis... I knew my drains were blocked, that is why I called. I said, 'no thank you' to their bids, as I already had a hydro jet bid as my second option... it was half the cost of new fisher plumbing hydro jetting.

I needed to have the main sewer line replaced, and a pressure regulator, nothing else.
I am very disappointed by the unnecessary expense I have had to put up with. Cisco, the salesperson, wrote and had this done: 'tech inspected 2 bath old cast iron plumbers will be removing old cast iron pipe and install a new abs pipe plumbers will be installing a clean out to inspect line under the house scraping pipe up to code city inspector included 15 years warranty replacing horizontal drain 2 bath and replacing pressure regulator to lower pressure'.
I thought 'removing old cast iron pipe' meant that the main sewer line was going to be replaced. I did not ask for the removal of the pipes under my house. I had specifically asked for the replacement of the main sewer pipe and I was mislead into doing something else. I am frustrated about this misunderstanding and the wasted money spent repairing something that did not need replacing according to the home inspector. I have spent over $7,000 for unnecessary work, I won't utilize their services again.
Also, Cisco said he placed a camera in the sewer line (this is a lie) and did not see the need to replace the main sewer pipe but since the inspector indicated that this was the problem, I wanted to be able to see the pictures he took of the pipes to make sense of this discrepancy. I truly think that Cisco lied to me as he never used a camera and therefor doesn't have any pictures to show me. -

I wish I would have read the yelp reviews before calling Fisher plumbing for 2 toilet repairs. Both needed new flappers and one also needed the floater replaced. 20 min later I paid $464.00 for 2 $15.00 parts. This is not reasonable this is flat out outrageous.

I have used Fisher Plumbing successfully in the past for at least 15 years. I understand there is new ownership and that policies and pricing have changed.
I called to schedule for slow drain problem on a double bathroom vanity. The Secretary would not give me any pricing or a ballpark price. She said the technician would quote me a price upon arrival. Because of my previous service with this co. I agreed. When the tech arrived and looked at the sink and vanity he quoted me $189.00 to snake the line. I was absolutely shocked by his quote. In the past they were charging $69.00 to $79.00. I asked why the secretary could not quote a basic price (with some exceptions) and he tried to explain that they were not tech's and could not quote pricing. As far as I am concerned this is total price gouging. There are other companies who do drain cleaning service that advertise their basic pricing with a few exceptions for as low as $99.00. I will no longer be using Fisher Plumbing myself or refer them to friends or customers of mine.10.7.2018 Hi Steve

There is a lot of variables with plumbing and we feel the technicians should quote and we at the office not guessing with your hard earned money. As for the price, it is $189 if its not cleanout accessible meaning we have to spend some time taking apart the pipes underneath the sink to access the pipe to clear the stoppage. If there was an access cleanout I would be able to clear it at our promotional rate of $48. If you like I would be willing give me a call and we can offer you the same rate this once to keep a happy and loyal customer. Mehr -

From the company website, "24 hour emergency service". Apparently, that doesn't always apply. I will give Fisher Plumbing the benefit of the doubt here, as they do have good ratings. However, if you advertise 24 hour emergency service, and list your hours on Yelp as such, then I am confused by why when I called today that the answer I received was someone could come out "sometime next week".

Also depending on the type of work, there are certain things we cannot do after hours and since we are not a big franchise company we also don't always have the man power to go to our customers at the times that our customers find most convenient. I assure you we do provide 24 hour service, but I am sorry that we are not always available. We do our best to schedule work to work with the schedules of our customers and sometimes that work can tie up a plumber for a full week. My sincerest apologies.

BE CAREFUL!!! Ad in yellow pages says any drain $45*. At the bottom of the ad in very small print (of course) it reads prices start at $45. This is for, as I found out after the plumber had spent all of 2 min. unclogging a toilet and charging $79, down drains (drain spouts). I recommend that every american purchase a drain auger and pipe wrench and have basic plumbing skills, so that they can take care of a problem themselves rather than being ripped off. $79 for 2 min. of work..really! I have used this company before and was charged $79 but that was an emergency and during off hours. The second time I called them there was NO CHARGE, which is why utilized them again. If they are not willing to cut a previous customer a little slack in price then I say good riddance. Again BE CAREFUL!!

Unfortunately, what once made us stand out in advertisement eventually began to work against us.
Many years ago, we were the only company that listed a price in the phone book, we had no problem doing this because we knew we had the best rates around. As time went on, so did the cost of living, gas, insurance etc. so eventually our prices had to go up as well. Our method of advertising a price worked so well for us that eventually other plumbing companies began to do the same. Since the other plumbing companies were not able to beat our prices, they added a fine print which would state "prices starting" or "$25 and up." Once our competitors arrived to the customers house, they would tell them the real price and usually at that point, even if upset, the customer would just allow them to do the work. That being said, with our competitors listing their starting prices lower than our regular prices, we started to lose a lot of calls.
Customers steer how we advertise. To advertise properly, we have to attract a customer to call our company to begin with. A customer is usually going to call the company who shows their price. Usually people look for the best price so they are attracted to the lowest price. We consulted with our advertising agent at the phone-book company and decided to follow their suggestions of offering a lower price for down spout rain gutter. We couldn't afford to lower all of our prices and knew there would be confusion. In order to make sure that someone wouldn't expect us to snake a regular drain for that price, we too added the "fine print." We were not proud of this method, since we knew it could be misleading, so we were always upfront and honest on the phone about the price before even sending a plumber to anyone inquiring about that price. We are very sorry to have disappointed this customer or any other customer that may have been affected by that advertisement. We pride ourselves in still being able to quote most prices over the phone. We offer free estimates if it is something that isn't easily diagnosed over the phone. We sincerely hope this clears up any confusion for anyone. Many companies will offer coupons and discounts which seem great, but even at a discounted rate, their prices are still higher than ours.
We are a reputable company that isn't serviced solely by the owner. We have an office that is open 6 days a week, so when you call you can speak to someone who isn't out in the field. We are licensed and insured. We provide our plumbers with their vehicles, equipment and maintenance on both. We are not a big franchise that teaches our technicians to try to sell you on work that isn't needed. We are honest and take pride in the fact that most of our clients are repeat customers and referrals. In order to continue to have a company that can provide these services, we do need to make a profit. That being said, we still offer very competitive rates and we are very open about our prices. We have been around for many years and would like to be around for many more. We sincerely hope that current and potential customers can understand and appreciate the kind of company we are.
We looked through our data base to try and locate Mr. Bill R. in Simi Valley and came across 5 different Bills. Unfortunately, none of them correlate with the time, job description or charges Mr. R posted this review. It does appear that he had been aware of our charges prior to seeing the advertisement. If we went out after hours when we charge overtime, it seems he received a discount and if we went back at no charge, we could have gone back out on a guarantee or a free estimate. We stand behind out work and really try our best to accommodate our customers but this doesn't mean that all subsequent visits will be at no charge or a lesser charge than a previous visit. We charge for the work we do, not for the time spent on a job. We do not have a quick turn over with our technicians and most of them have been with us for many years and are very efficient at what they do. We are so well known for our work, especially in drain cleaning and sewer replacements, that other competitors will even refer their own customers to us, because they know we will get the job done right.
We hope anyone in need of a good plumber gives us a call and gives us the chance to be honest with them as well.
