@Aris, funny you picked those two teams, lol. first of all, I am a Chelsea fan, been following them before roman abramovich, through the disappointment of losing to man u in the CL finals, the later redemption in 2012, and the loss of Didier Drogba. I saw them last year, and that was amazing, specially seeing the FA cup and the CL cup. man.
as far as Real, how can u not be a fan after zidane, figo, and raul all playing together? I was somewhat not following them, but I think that CR7 is one of the best and I have been cheering them up, again, since he moved away from man u (which blows, btw).
i'll be there next week. behind the goal where the players come out.
Julio, I'm a Munich fan so Chelsea's CL win was heartbreaking. Especially at the mercy of Drogba after Schweinsteiger missed his PK! Would've been cool if they were in it too. As faras Real, it would be cool to see Chelsea vs Madrid final. I think they're the two best teams in this cup and Mourihno can go against his former club. Which hate him apparently
I was a Munich fan too, they were the first important team to pick up a Peruvian player, Claudio Pizarro. they got him from werder Bremen, he scored too many goals against them. that year they won the CL, 2000 or 2001. but what made me get off the wagon was that they got rid of Stefan Effenberg. the guy who basically won the CL for them (a la drogba). I like their style, they may have a repeat this year. mourinho is a nut case. he had a good run with real, but couldn't deal with some of the stars, primarily casillas. I hope he wins another CL cup, he is a good coach.
Julio, I'm definitely happy Pizarro's contract was extended! Even if only for a year. He's still got it. I've followed Munich since 2002 more or less when Oliver Khan was in goal. After that I dropped off and followed Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and the Barca squad. Came back to Bayern when Mario Gomez came around. Sad to see him go. @Patrick, It was awesome! I tried to go watch the game at Fritz and Franz in CG but it was standing room only 2 hours before the match.
