Help!  I was craving Chinese food but didn't know where to go in Rancho Cordova.  I usually have Chinese in the South, downtown, or on Broadway.  I've read the reviews on Hoicin.  Any other places for good take out?

A LOT of the dozens of good Korean places up and down Folsom also do Chinese dishes; one does Japanese and Korean (there's an enormous amt of overlap in that community, in that many Koreans come here via another Asian country). Oak Doll had some good Hakka and other regional Chinese specialties. The Chinese-Korean dishes at Korea House are quite good as well. Many other orthodox Korean restaurants serve champong and my favorite, jajangmyon, which are technically Chinese dishes but very popular in Korea.

How would you like to go to a restaurant named Lots of Luck?

Great responses everyone...thanks!  I always look to my fellow Yelpers for REAL recommendations.  I think I'll try Hoi Cin and Lots of Luck.  I spotted Kim's, but Louie L. didn't think much of it.  Are either of those places open past 9pm?  Why do I always crave Chinese late at night?  Oh, and I guess I could always do Safeway on Folsom for a generic Chinese fix.  Don't tell anyone, please!  Thanks again.

Happy Palace on Bradshaw near Old Placerville Road...kind of the outskirts of Rancho on the Sacramento side. SO good.  Years ago, they used to know my family by name (and order).

The prepared Chinese and Korean food at most Korean markets (and Jin Mi which is FANTASSTIC) is excellent, and always better than a supermarket!
