Fast delivery and good quality. Pizza that actually tastes good reheated in the microwave, too! If you have to go inside, go for the lunch special. Salad bar is usually fresh and the three big slices you get are more than enough. Try not to go at night; the place has more children than a Chuck-e-Cheese.
Let me start off by saying my everyday car is a BMW, and a majority of my dealership experience has been with the fantastic East Bay BMW in Pleasanton. We recently added a new Volkswagen GTI to our household that we picked up at Stevens Creek VW. I took it in to Dublin VW for its first oil change and service. I called ahead and spoke with service receptionist to ensure I would be able to get a loaner car for my first service, just like I do when I drop my car off at BMW. No problem she said, they had 20 loaner cars in.
About 20 minutes later I arrive and walk into the service department. Two service advisors right in front of me at their desks refuse to acknowledge that I'm even there. No other customers in sight. I continue to stand, waiting to be acknowledged and getting a little impatient given that I'm the only customer there. Meanwhile, one of the service advisors yells over to the receptionist about their lunch order from KFC. I was able to overhear that she obviously preferred that her A&W Root Beer was regular and not diet. Some minutes go by and I'm finally asked if I've been helped yet. In my mind I'm thinking: you saw me standing here. Do you really not know the answer to that? I explained that I'm here for my fist service.
The service advisor and I walk out to the vehicle to get the mileage. He tells me I'm bringing it in a bit early. I explain to him the service reminder has been on for weeks, and just because the mileage was low, the time frame indicated service was due. Shouldn't he have known this before telling a customer I'm in the wrong for "bringing it in early?"
He asks me if I needed a ride or anything and I explained I would like a loaner car. He told me they don't give out loaner vehicles for routine service appointments. I found that interesting considering 20 minutes ago I spoke with the service receptionist and she said it would be no problem for me to have one. I clearly communicated my frustration being told one thing and arriving to hear something different.
Easily one of the worst automotive service experiences ever. I felt mislead, and did not leave happy. They could have at least made it right by making an exception given the fact that they apparently had 20 loaner vehicles available. Maybe I'm just spoiled with my BMW experience, where they have a greeter that helps you out of your car, escorts you inside to service, and then their service advisors get you a loaner car (even for routine maintenance). I really hate being told one thing and getting something else when I get there. The service receptionist really should brush up on her knowledge and understanding of the department which she represents. She is misleading customers who are asking specific questions and getting incorrect answers. Also, based on what I saw, she should at least consider switching to Diet A&W; fewer calories and sugar, if you catch my drift.
I think we'll be bringing our VW to Walnut Creek from now on. Or maybe just stick with BMW in the future.
Talk about a painless experience. Our sales guy, Jason, was knowledgeable and offered a no nonsense approach. After picking out a mattress, we poked around a few other mattress places nearby. We were unimpressed with the staff and the products at the other places. We came back to Jason and bought the mattress we liked. He hooked us up with a fair amount of extras. I felt like I came out with a good deal and didn't have to deal with a sleazeball to get it. I recommend you skip the other places and start here for your new mattress shopping.
I struggled between a two and three star rating. Ultimately, I chose the three star, because this place is really good, save for my bad experience. Its perfect Yelp score has been tarnished, but for what I think is good reason.
This was the second time I've brought my car here. Once before for panel repaint and bumper replacement, with no complaints. Most recently, I brought in for a bumper replacement after being rear ended. Service was excellent, just as I remembered. They arranged my rental car transport, they kept me in the loop during the whole process, and called me when my car was finished. I arrived to find my car freshly washed and as good as new--or so I thought.
It wasn't until I got home and parked in my garage that I noticed the horror. Under the direct lighting of my garage's flood light, I saw the worst example of paint swirl scratches I've ever seen. It literally looked like the car was buffed with sandpaper. The swirl marks are so bad, there is literally a haze in the paint when the light hits the swirls at certain angles.
I called my service advisor, and he said it could be related to the recycled water process they're forced to use. He encouraged me to bring the car in and they'd take a look. I did not take him up on this offer, because I feel it would have been a waste of our time. I imagine it would have went something like me pointing and complaining and them either not seeing it, or telling me there's nothing they can do. It's not like they were going to offer to repaint my entire car. I ultimately decided to let the issue go; the scratches are visible only in certain direct lighting and I guess I can live with it and hopefully get the scratches waxed out eventually.
I hope this review will be cause for better quality control in their car wash department, and that future customers will check their paint closely when picking up their vehicle.
I have nothing but good things to say about Matt and Joe. Their shop is immaculate, both in the waiting area and service bay. I now depend on them solely for all my BMW service needs and aftermarket installs. It's nice to be able to drop my car off somewhere that I can trust, even more so than when I'd drop off at the BMW dealer.
These guys are passionate about what they do, and it shows. There's a sense that they appreciate the customer. They also have meets and events and even track days they coordinate and offer to their customers. I do recommend making your appointments far in advance.
Truly a unique and trustworthy shop that'll be worth the drive from wherever you live.
As good as it gets when it comes to eating right. You can eat just about anything here and feel good about it afterwards. Now I'm far from a health nut, and generally live by the mantra 'if it's healthy, I won't like it,' but this food tasted good. Everything in sight behind the counter looked genuinely fresh, especially the meats. The chicken on my salad was freshly cut, and the skin was delicious. So many choices for healthy drinks and desserts as well. I was quite excited to learn that my town Walnut Creek has its very own Tender Greens as well!
Don't let the exterior fool you--it's not a motel (and apparently never was, according to the owner). You owe it to yourself to go inside and try this place! You will be pleasantly surprised.
I tried this place on a whim after me and my friend decided we wanted Mexican food for lunch. Using our handy Yelp app, we saw this place had a perfect 5 out of 5 score, a rarity when reading restaurant reviews. That was convincing enough for us!
Once we got inside, and of course commented on the off exterior, it was classic, quaint taco shop and business as usual. We were sat on the left side, which apparently is better air conditioned than the other side.
Service was good, food was really good and exactly what you expect when you get that Mexican food craving. Lots of good-sounding stuff on the menu made me wish I was a little more adventurous on the items I chose, but there's certainly something for everyone on the extensive menu. Try this place; you won't be disappointed.
"Don't take my word for it--well actually, yes--do."
