Went here for brunch on the recommendations of some friends. It was our 4th east coast brunch experience. The decor is great and geeked out on the wallpaper. Attentive service and a reasonably priced menu. My lady friend had the eggs Benedict and said they were good. I went with the shrimp and grits. They were alright but completely over salted. Really good flavors, but had to dig them out from under the saltiness. I would probably go back just to see what dinner has to offer.
Faster Internet can be found in third world countries. At the same time, my flights are typically on time. The taxi queue can be a bit of a train wreck, so I recommend calling a cab ahead of time and having them pick you up at passenger pick up.
Disappointing. We recently moved into the area and wanted to try it out, so we wandered over to grab some burgers and fries. I was pretty pumped on the ingredients when I saw the list. No clue where they went when I received my burger. All I found was lettuce and small flecks of other items.
Speaking of burgers, the meat was bland and dry, the bun was hard on top and mush on the bottom.
We received a free shake which managed to be warm and overpowering while still being a shake.
I was hoping for a 5 Guys experience, but they only had 2 guys making the burger, so alas, 2 stars for each guy.
Great little gym. I came from a CrossFit culture, so I am a bit biased against globo douchebaggery. (It is called a mid-line, stabilize it instead of cranking your head to watch yourself in the mirror doing tricep work)
Good selection of free weights and cardio equipment. I was especially stoked to see rowers and boxes. I usually go around 7:30 so it is not very crowded. Looking forward to trying out some classes as well. The facilities are always clean and the staff is friendly.
I like it here and the price is right.
Less than $70 on Hotels.com. Clean and functional. It is a bit dated. My linens were a bit threadbare in spots. Free breakfast with omelette bar was a nice feature. It is also very close to your typical suburban sprawl strip malls.
I used to come here all the time when I was stationed at Ft. Carson. The breakfast burritos were always the best. The prices have gone up a bit, but it still tastes the same. One of my favorite things about Colorado is the breakfast burrito culture.
