I heard good things about this restaurant so I packed my best bottle of wine and headed out. The ambiance and décor is top notch. The staff was very attentive but that is where all the good stuff ends.
They have a $20 corkage fee which I think is a little high but since I was bringing a $120 bottle of wine I didn't argue.
I ordered a Caesar salad and my wife ordered the Blue Crab and Corn bisque. She loved her soup but my salad was far less stellar. I asked for anchovies to be added and what I received was wet romaine (no hint of dressing) and instead of anchovies they added pickled herring!
The steaks were cooked to the right temp (medium rare) but both steaks were a little tough with not much taste. All said and done it was NOT worth the money. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I was very surprised by this restaurant. I didn't expect much since it is inside our RV park. But the food is good, service is great and prices fair. The outside deck is the place to eat.
I have been back several times and my opinion has not changed.
I have been to several Planet Fitness since joining a month ago and this location is the worst by far. The bathroom area is always dirty A light has been out in the showers for over a week. Hydro beds don't work right and staff acts like they don't want to be there
Not a good representation of the chain.
Great place for breakfast. Lots of unique items on the menu. Friendly and helpful staff. Use the restroom even if you don't need to........you will see why. All said and done worth a try but be warned a little pricey.
This place has the potential to be a terrific refuge near the Avenue of the Giants. However, some general daily maintenance is lacking. The office had a smell similar to an unclean, decrepit nursing home, the showers had cobwebs (and a general 'nastiness') component, and two out of the four washing machines were not working. The wifi only works sporadically from the front porch of the office. Sites are not inspected or cleaned after guests leave. Okay for an overnight stay, but nothing more.
I ended up at this restaurant after being blasted out of the German restaurant in town. The band that was playing in the lower level was shaking the whole building with the big bass.
Other reviews of the cattleman's didn't paint a good picture.
I had the 12oz rib eye, It was a little thin...maybe 1/2 inch but good flavor. All in all not a bad place.
The reviews sent me to this restaurant but the menu and a band blasting bass sent me elsewhere. I wanted to try the cattleman steak house but the reviews were a little off putting. Went there anyway after the Bavarian and it turned out to be a good choice.
I had a birthday dinner at the Swiss Chalet about three years ago and was sick as a dog with food poisoning an hour later so when friends asked me to go with them last night I was a little hesitant. I saw good reviews on yelp and after all several years had past so what the heck I gave it a try. Long story short both my friend and I got sick again! I don:t think I will go back.
I am writing this review for the campgrounds.
This is one of the best places I have stayed at. The sites are well spaced and large enough for a 35' motor home and a second vehicle. Clean restrooms and showers, water and 50amp to each site. I will be back.
