My husband and I are expecting our first child in April and were looking for a new baby-friendly vehicle. We were most interested in the new Grand Cherokee and were looking for a test drive. Norm Robb was the first on the scene: he was incredibly personable and informative - without an ounce of salesie-ness.
We test drove, loved it, and sat down to talk numbers. Lithia's process of negotiations is so different from other dealers - there is no "four-square" method, they were straight forward and to the point. It took 3 rounds of back and forth before the numbers were right on what we wanted (and keep in mind we had been there for an hour or so). We applied for credit, took our "possible" new car to lunch, and they called us when the paperwork was in line about 45minutes later. Another 45minutes of signing and a quick checklist and we were off.
I have never in my life had such an easy, stressfree transaction during the purchase of a vehicle - it's usually something I avoid at all costs. This completely changed my mind - I'll be buying from Lithia again. Hands down.
Came here on Sunday with my husband because it's pretty much a family tradition :) The food is good but we didn't have the ice cream, which based on the reviews seems to be what they are known for - which makes me think I need to go back. Scenery is clean/quaint - really an older, traditional family restaurant feel.
I'll update my review after a sundae :)
This place is under new management! Laura Scheuffele, a local artist, purchased it in February and the place looks amazing. We went on Saturday and the selection of local artist pieces (from glass/jewelry/canvas/sketch) was absolutely amazing.
They have created a boutique of local artists that is worth wandering around even if not to buy (although I would encourage it!). We bought some spoon-art bracelets and handmade birdhouses. The owner was there and told us the inventory is constantly changing and they encourage the contributing artists to continue to be creative and bring in new things. I love supporting local artists - this place makes it really accessible. Plus the staff is friendly, willing to answer questions about pieces and give you insights on the artists that created it.
What better way to start spring with lunch on the back patio in the middle of the Village. We came here with some good friends of ours under the recommendation of a family member.
This place is amazing. The back patio is simple and quaint, the staff is really friendly and inviting, and the food.. omg... the food. We had the grilled artichoke with garlic aoili as an appetizer (cooked to PERFECTION), the flat bread pizza with fresh arugula (mmm...), and the Village burger that my husband said was amazing. Totally impressed and going back next weekend.
+ the owner was the sous chef at el gauchos (fyi)
I've never had a faster meal. They literally have your food out to you within 5 minutes. I've been here multiple times on short/long lunches, with large and small groups. Really impressed with their quick turnaround.
Also - I tend to be a Pho critic.. there is a hole-in-the-wall place in Kent (I've reviewed as well..) that is amazing, so everything ends up being compared to there. This place, almost 100% - the chicken pho is great - fresh ingrediants and the broth isn't oily at all like some of the other chain Pho places. It's very small, so don't be surprised if you've close to strangers or bumping elbows - they make up for it with fast service and wait staff that will keep you laughing :)
Love Zen Yai! One of my good friends introduced me to this place and it quickly became one of my favorite lunch outings. The service is really quick - very large portions so be sure to take some home. Parking is generally full and the stalls are small so don't bring your 18-wheeler..
I always get the Pad Si Ew with extra brocooli - highly recommend :)
Walked in today and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very helpful and friendly - we talked to multiple employees around the store who were very knowledgable in their current products and the history of those things on display.
The quality is really high - we purchased a bunch of random stuff but some great wool blankets as well. Definitely making a trip back soon!
The brewery is a complete hole-in-the-wall place, but the beer is exceptional. Came here with my friend and husband for some amazing beer - although the tour wasn't going on, we sampled and got the summation from the guy at the retail store. I love that they are a small-town brewery focused on quality and support from their fans.
Note: Tours are ONLY Sunday at 3, but you can sample beer at the retail store if you're buying growlers.
Ok Yelpers.. I've got a bone to pick with you.
Good for groups? Umm not so much. I came here with 12 people for my husbands birthday. First - they don't accept reservations which I'm completely ok with - its a pub for crying out loud. However, when I call 2 hours ahead and say "by the way, I have a large crowd coming at 7" and they reply "awesome! we'll be ready!" I'd expect for the wait to not be 90 minutes because you only have 1 place to put us. Food? Pretty darn good - we got good reviews of the Fisherman's Pie, Fish n' Chips, BLTC, and Turkey Club in our group. Beer Selection? Not bad.. pretty upset there was no Mac & Jacks though.. Ambience? Nice. Totally a small-town pub feel in the much bigger downtown Bellevue scene. The wait staff was nice - Manager gave us free app's for waiting so darn long.
Honestly - not a place I would actively make plans to go back to - the feel is good, but experience wasn't great.
My coworkers insist on bringing these amazing doughnuts to early-morning meetings and then stranding them outside my office.
The poor darlings are alone, cold, and need a friend which I am more then happy to provide.
"Outstanding in my field."
