Brought my car in for a tire patch. They were courteous and was up front that there would be a wait and I would have to leave my car for the tire repair, quoting a late afternoon time. In a little over an hour they had my tire fixed and when I went to pay they said not worry about and it was on them. Great service and good work. I would trust this establishment in the future.
I was new in town and the task of finding a good and economical place to get a haircut is a task. This place is nice an located inside the Yaletown shops, so it does not have storefront facing the street. It is a small place and Farzad is very friendly and does good work. The men's haircut is $30 which is about $10 more than the cheapest I could find. But it is worth not having to worry about quality. Also you get a free shampoo, hot towel and he uses a straight razor to trim the neckline. If you are new to town give the place a try, it is very inviting, but make sure to make an appt. at least a few days out.
It is a small bar above union pig and chicken. The drink menu is small and list of ingredients are strange and difficult to understand. The price per drink is $8-$12. The drinks themselves are good but hardly worth the price. Service is fair.
This is perhaps the best mechanic shop in Pittsburgh. It is ran by two brothers and may not look like much but they offer excellent service, honest work and great pricing. Recently I brought my truck in after another shop said I needed a litany of repairs. At Bruno's they did only the necessary work and even fixed the ignition switch which had worn out and only charged me for the part. These guys are great, but they are usually backed up with work so you may have to schedule in advance.
