There is new ownership to the prior boba place. The whole store received a facelift with a clean look and IG worthy photo ops. The staff is friendly and drinks were made quickly.

The menu has several new specialty drinks. My favorite is the house milk tea with crystal boba. I like the strong tea flavor. There is no powdery taste to it. Looking forward to coming back and trying other fruit tea flavors.

With a difficult pregnancy, I was not able to research newborn/family photographers ahead of time. I contacted Erika about two weeks before I was due and she was able to accommodate our schedule to book a session. Erika was responsive and very professional with every phone call and email.

When we arrived for our session, she was so wonderful in connecting with our 4-yo twins to make them feel comfortable. Erika and her team were great with kids, which was not always our experience in the past with other photographers. They were patient when our kids got distracted and let them have a quick break when needed. We never felt rushed during our session. They also took their time to make sure our poses were perfect for each picture.

We requested 5 sets total for our newborn and they were all so cute. Even though our newborn was over 10 days old at the time of our session, Erika and her team were able to get her to sleep peacefully through all 5 sets.

Overall, we had a great experience working with Erika. We look forward to seeing all the beautiful pictures she captured for us!

I ordered 4 items for take out from here and two of the items were wrong. One of the items was the Sheila chicken avocado salad. We received a portion of chopped lettuce, with nothing else. We also requested a replacement of the beans to a side salad and didn't get that. Called to tell them about the problem and was put on hold for an hour while the guy checked with the manager...and never got back on the line to address it.

Parking was difficult and if you wanted to dine in, the wait is 2-2.5 hours for dinner.

Our son asked to take surfing lessons late in our trip to hawaii. After looking up some places, we found Mickey's surf school. It was a busy week for Mickey but he was able to squeeze us in for a lesson at the last minute, which we are so thankful for!

He sent us some videos to show our 4-yo before the lesson. Our son was nervous and felt iffy the day before. However, when we got to the location and he met Mickey, he got comfortable really quick. Mickey took his time to chat and get to know our son so he wouldn't be shy or have stranger danger. As soon as they were ready to head to the water, my son happily and excitedly followed Mickey. He enjoyed his lesson so much and wanted to see all his surfing videos, which Mickey provided to us. My son wanted more lessons but this was our last day. We will definitely come back next time we are here.

Thanks for being patient and so wonderful to our son! He may have picked up a new hobby.
