These guys are scumbags and avoid them at all cost. They don't return calls after destroying my credit rating for an issue between them and my contractor! I paid my contractor in full and even paid these guys after learning they hadn't been paid. These sobs had a court order against me and refuse to lift it. Lawyer up with these guys if you do business.
I have been going to the Old Pro since they opened and have to say its the best place to watch sporting events or just hang out with friends. The atmosphere is super fun and always has a good vibe. Its amazing how many people drive to this place from all over the bay area.
The chicken wings are my favorite.
I'm not much of a beer drinker so I love the fact that they have such a great wine list - vary rare for a sports bar.
There are TVs everywhere so there's not a bad seat in the place.
While this place can get busy there's never a long wait to get service.
I am super shocked that anyone would say anything bad about this place. The good news is that those whiners won't be at the Old Pro to spoil anyone's good time.
The new chef is AMAZING!
If you haven't checked this place out lately you are missing some great food.
The views are exceptional of course too - probably the best in the city.
I can't say enough about Dog Adventures! We've been with them for 3.5 years now, since Rose was a little puppy. Lisa and her staff are wonderful and really care about the well being of all the dogs. Rose always comes home happy and tired. I feel so fortunate we heard about them from our neighbors. In fact almost everyone I know with Dogs in Pac Heights knows Lisa! They are also so flexible, handling our last-minute requests. I love all the photos and stories about the dogs Lisa sends me. Cracks me up. It feels like we are all part of one big family! In my next life I'm coming back as a dog and going on dog walks with Lisa and her gang!
Has anyone else noticed how this place is quickly going downhill? Ive been going to Elite for about 20 years or more but I think its time is over. The service has gotten so incredibly bad. I live in the neighborhood so I really want this place to turn around but after giving it several more tries it continues to disappoint. All the good servers/bartenders have left. The last three times I went in and waited 15-20 minutes to be served and they weren't even busy. I walked out the last time for good. Its really insulting to be waiting while the servers are busy chatting it up with other servers and the hosts see what it happening and just ignore it. On top of that they have a serious attitude and don't even know how to make a drink. Its sad because one of the reasons I used to go to the Elite was because the staff was so great. Its unfortunate that they all left.
I went there last night at 9:15 for a glass of wine with a friend and they said they were closed. Really, because the sign on your door says you are open until 10pm. I used to go there a lot because I live in the neighborhood but not anymore. The blond waitress was super rude.
Since I live in the neighborhood, I love seeing new places open up along Fillmore street so naturally I was excited about newcomer Jane. The space they created is super adorable and it has a warm, cozy feel to it.
Initially the service was really good but then it dropped off and we practically had to beg for service. The guy behind the counter was super friendly but he had a hard time multitasking as a few more customers came in. Sure, I understand that he was excited and wanted to have in-depth conversations with everyone about the place but we didn't have all day. While we were there we saw two frustrated people walk out for not getting waited on.
The soup came out tepid and bland but the paninis and carrot cake were very tasty.
Maybe it was just an off day or they are still working out the kinks. I will definitely give them another shot.
My husband and I are regulars at Mortons San Francisco. We love the staff and the environment. The service is also top-notch. It's perfect for large gatherings or intimate dinning. Ironically I don't eat red meat so I can't speak for the steaks but everyone I'm ever with always raves about them. I love the seafood and the sides and the desserts are to die for. It's one of those places where you know everything is going to be great.
Running used to be my exercise of choice from both a physical and mental standpoint. However, since I started Bar Method almost a year ago I rarely run anymore. I found that with Bar Method I can get a more efficient, full-body workout that takes just an hour. I have also found that Bar Method has minimal wear and tear on my body because it is more of a strength-training routine than endurance exercise. I feel stronger than I ever have before, even my legs. I still enjoy running whenever I get the chance because nothing beats a good runners high but for my daily exercise I am sticking to Bar Method. The instructors at the Marina Bar Method are awesome!
