Decent strip mall sushi. Good for a quick lunch meal. They take phone orders. Mexico City tlroll is my fave. USC Power roll hits the spot too. 1 roll fills u up. 2 rolls is too much. Solid service. Price is ok.
Service department is kind of the worst! 07 Tahoe was here for a month! Lack of updates. You can never get through to speak with anyone and have to leave voicemails and hope for a call back. Excuse after excuse. Never again...although i'm sure Carmax had a hand in the fuckery. Wooooosahhhh!
Best sandwiches in LA, hands down. The combination of fresh bread (baked in house daily) and the quality of the seafood is amazing. I've never had shrimp this size and this flavorful outside of a sushi restaurant. The array of sandwiches makes every visit an adventure (and I've been over 15 times since they opened). Although I prefer the Orlenas side of the menu, York side doesn't slack. I've unfortunately given up on my prior deli sandwich spot Mike's Deli and they have good sandwiches...O&Y is great though. It's a little pricier, but u get what u pay for. O&Y lifer!!
O-Sho, 4sho!!! Had some great sushi there tonight. Our sushi chef was named "Jose". All the fish was fresh and of course the sake bombs topped it all off. The lady who runs the place really makes you feel like you're at home. Our waitress wasn't the best, but we just ignored her. Had about 4 different rolls and a couple rounds of sake bombs, totaling at about $75 (for two people). I'll definitely be going back.
This is my go to Sandwich spot in LA. The hot turkey pastrami is a full go and the honey maple turkey is off the chain. They have a wide variety of chips and a million drinks, way more than you will get at a national chain. Mike's service is unmatched, he always makes you feel like your at home. For my money there is no better sandwich shop in LA.
Me and my folks had a hankering for fine authentic tacos in Inglewood and didnt know where to go. I had seen El Compa millions of time but never stopped. It was my sister's turn to cook Wednesday Night Dinner, but it didnt work out...so El Compa it was. I must say the $1.35 carne asada tacos were a FULL GO (really good to all those who don't speak my language). When you go make sure you get a Fruit Punch Jarittos and your frequent patron card (FREE ISSHHHHHHH!)....that's my word!
