Our food was excellent. I had oysters which were fresh and delicious, my lobster was perfectly cooked, the clam chowder was excellent and the steamed vegetables as sides were tasty although, like everything, full of butter.
Service was acceptable, though, to our server's credit, we dined on a very busy night.
The hostess was very accommodating, even during the rush, and attended well to our seating preferences.
A word of caution, for a nice meal it could easily reach 100$ per person, but you do get exactly what you pay for. The quality of the food and overall experience were very good.
Chez Jacky is a charming well-priced dining experience. For the price, the food is excellent. The service was consistently good, our waiter was attentive, and my coffee was never empty.
Out of all the breakfast places in the area, this provides the best coffee, eggs and service for the price.
The brunch is excellent with great dishes such as smoked salmon, eggs Benedict, Croque Monsieur for extremely reasonable prices. I am actually sad that now as more people discover Chez Jacky, it will not be as peaceful during lunchtime.
Dinner is more traditional French dining cuisine in small French portion sizes. You will probably have room for an appetizer and dessert so I would recommend ordering all three courses if you desire a filling meal.
I have been here with my girl friend multiple times and it has always been romantic. It is nice to finally have a good French restaurant in the area.
I very much enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the facilities at Inman Oasis. When I need to relax in a hot-tub, this is the place I go to as the living situation in Boston usually prevents one from having a large jacuzzi in their bathroom.
The facilities are clean and well laid out. The hot-tubs run hot so you won't feel disappointed and the pricing is more than reasonable.
My only complaint is with the masseuses. I have had several massages at Inman Oasis before I came to my senses. Each time, the masseuse was not very thorough and just barreled through his/her work without much attention to detail. Normally, I would blame this on tight scheduling, but frankly it was because of poor technique on their parts.
Overall, the hot-tubs are clean, hot and cheap, but for an excellent massage, go elsewhere.
I have had massages from numerous masseuses all over the world and, frankly, Cassie Page ranks among the best.
She is extremely attentive to you needs. She tailors every massage to your current problem areas. As well, she varies the pressure to your liking perfectly. She can apply very heavy pressure when you need a deep tissue massage or, conversely, be very gentle when you need to relax.
Cassie is also extremely thorough. She never rushes and she never forgets to work on an specific area. She covers a great deal of territory in a single-hour session. Consequently, the whole experience seem longer than it actually is.
On a more technical note, Cassie has a superb mastery of pressure points on the body and is able to work on areas of tension and pain that you didn't even know were there. Furthermore, she is one of the few masseuses, that I know, who is able to effectively massage your abdominal muscles without eliciting cries of agony on your part.
Overall, you will leave feeling tension and pain free.
I highly recommend her for those engaging in numerous athletic activities or for those just wanting a relatively inexpensive, high-end massage.
