I wouldn't recommend Active Life to my worst enemy. We visited
3 different providers for my daughter's corrective helmet, and ended up going
with Active Life, not because we liked them but because our insurance partially
covered it. Hindsight, I would have paid the extra $700 because they were that
bad.


To start, their way of measuring my daughter's head was very
inaccurate compared to the other providers. They use a ruler when the other
providers use a computer. Since my daughter moved around during the measurement,
I don't believe they ever got a truly accurate measurement of her head.


My partner and I were diligent about keeping the helmet on 23
hours a day, so when the results were not showing, we became frustrated. Her
care provider made it sound like it was our fault and talked to us in a condescending
tone saying things like "I believe you that you are keeping the helmet on her",
as if this was something we would lie about. She did very little to provide comfort,
encouragement, and generally seemed to have a lack of experience or knowledge
in what she was doing.


After 3.5 months, and no progress (they even told us her
head was getting worse at points and changed the numbers in the measurement
from week to week) we finally decided to give up. I feel as if they robbed us
of our money and time. I cannot recommend enough that you take your child
elsewhere.

I could not love Lauren more. She is beyond talented and professional and I knew from the moment I met her that she was the perfect person to do my makeup for my wedding day. She made me and everyone in my wedding party feel beautiful and was complimentary. I honestly have never felt more beautiful and could not have asked for a more perfect look for my wedding day. She even sent everyone off to the wedding with their own little kit with lipstick kits, mints and make up sponges which I thought was the best touch.

I really enjoyed the drinks here. However the cabin smells like farts. Like really badly.

I would say the only good thing about Dukes is the view and the dessert. Dukes is basically a tourist trap. The menu selection is horrible, there were very few options, especially for those who are not fish eaters. Although we did go for a birthday and got this huge dessert which was the only good part about my meal.
