Over rated & overpriced with awful service :(
I really wanted to like this place but didn't at all! Our server couldn't explain anything on the menu. It was 4:15 on Saturday and I couldn't order the Watermelon Gazpacho because it was the dinner soup - yet the people seated 15 min after us ordered it bc it was then dinner time. WTF? I ordered a sandwich on glutenfree bread which I found out 10 min later they were out of, so I had to order something else. The fish tacos I ended up with were bland with no spice whatsoever and no salsa to be found. The large size quinoa salad was as big as the side salad that came with the fish tacos - an extremely small serving for $12. The $12 kids meal was 4 medium-sized grilled shrimp with 3 pieces of roasted potato and 5 bite-sized pieces of carrot. My kids were done eating before I even got any food.
Everything was fresh and the building was very nice but I won't be back.
We went for lunch and got two Greek salads - one topped with falafel and one with gyro meat along with a side of tzaziki. The salads were both very large and had feta cheese, romaine lettuce, and kalamata olives. The gyro salad had a good portion of meat on top and the other had 4 good-sized falafel on top. You order up at the counter and they call your name when it's ready. The patio is very nice, but watch out for the bees!
Fresh, healthy food in a clean, friendly atmosphere!
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in town. The food is excellent - from the breakfast specials to one of the best veggie burgers ever! The veggie burger is housemade and filled with black beans, rice and beets (making it look like a real meat burger) and served on a soft bun with mustard, pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato along with a side of your choice. It will satisfy even the meat-eaters in the crowd - though they also have a fabulous grass-fed beef burger too!
Don't miss the fresh-squeezed juices either - my favorite is the carrot juice with lemon and ginger.
This Starbucks is brand new, they just moved from the much smaller location on Dierker Rd. It is very spacious with a large conference table and many smaller seating areas. They also have a drive-thru now! The coffees are all excellent as usual for Starbucks. Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful.
I always get the Veggie Patacon because I can't bring myself to order anything else whenever I come here. If you want it vegan - just get that without cheese or cilantro sauce - you'll still get the delicious fried plantain, rice, beans and a mountain of veggies.
This is one of my 10 year old's favorite places for lunch so I find myself here often. She loves the mango tofu for the fresh but sweet mango sauce and crunchy noodles. I usually get the $10.99 sushi special with miso soup, though their salad is good too a nice mix of field greens. The miso soup has tofu, onions, seaweed and cilantro floating in it, great in this cold weather! I always get the sweet potato roll to share with the kid too - we both like that one!
This is a great place for lunch, dinner or happy hour! Everything I've had has been really good from the salads to seafood to martinis to dessert. I love the martini flight - letting you choose 3 small martinis from a list of choices for under $9! The salads are fresh and tasty. I've had the scallops and the tuna wontons - both were very fresh and flavorful. The s'mores dessert is fun & different with a pot of melted chocolate & marshmallow with strawberries & graham crackers to dip. YUM! I can't wait until it's warm enough to sit out on the patio.
TJ Maxx is a great place if you are shopping on a budget. They have a great home section with sheets, plates, pans, towels, and even some furniture. They have a huge selection of pet items/furniture too. They have a small jewelry section with 14K and sterling silver items. Lots of women's clothing, men's clothing, and shoes. I can always find a purse that I want! The kids section is a good size too, but it's a little more hit & miss.
