Growing. Not quite up to the standard of their original location on Cleveland Ave. The menu and food are the same. The night we went (Wednesday) business was a little slow; but service was very friendly and attentive. This location does not have the funky feel of BurgerQue1, just yet. So, now you go for the creative sandwiches, and the selection of beers. They do have outside seating; and, are working on their beer garden.
Not amazing; but, not just a bar food joint, either. The bacon/egg/cheese burger on pretzel roll was quite good. A reasonable selection of draft beer available. Service was attentive. Bar area can be quite noisy, especially when Michigan basketball game is on the TV! Consequently, dining area noisy, too. Worth a revisit.
Do not be turned off by the outside appearance! The place has gone through several iterations of "fast food" joints. It is now a funky black-and-orange exterior, with a high fence enclosure of the beer garden and dining area. They have a great selection of draft and craft beers. But, go for the food. The burgers and bar-b-que sandwiches are innovative, and just plain GOOD! Add two sides (included), and you will leave satisfied and surprised.
Out-of-the-way restaurant, on a very nondescript street, near the Rambuteau metro station. Seats twenty, hence the name? Typical shoulder-to-shoulder seating. Waiter speaks several languages, including English. Prix fixe menu is quite large, and interesting. Wine list is very reasonable. Most patrons seem to take about 1.5-2 hours for dinner. Not because you feel rushed at all; but, the food is so darn good you can't wait for the next bite! Prawns wrapped in the finest of angel hair pasta, and the smoked duck and blue cheese tart excellent. Veal risotto has intense flavor, as does the braised lamb. Reservations required, as all seats will be occupied by the end of the evening.
Great atmosphere in the heart of downtown. Old pub charm, with loud and lively clientele. Nice selection of microbrews; and, good food. Service is quick and friendly. A placed to see and be seen.
Probably the best up-scale seafood restaurant on the island. Right on the beach, with inside and outside dining. Very talented kitchen serving unique and generous portions. Wait staff attentive and familiar with menu and preparations.
My stylist was very nice but did a poor job, it has been weeks and my hair still is a mess. Plus she wanted to to buy 5! different products for my hair. It would have cost over $100 in product alone. I will not return.
I've read reviews on other sites that have been very critical of the Holly Hotel's food quality and service. Could not agree less! The service is excellent: attentive, professional, yet friendly. Food is creative, and flavorful. Serving portions more than enough, considering that an excellent soup and salad are included with the entrée. Pricey? Yes. But, unique experience. Also, they offer a nice list of fairly-priced wines. It is off the beaten path; but, worth the drive. PS. supposedly it is haunted; and, I did have a "brush" with the supernatural.
