This is a fun little tea shop in downtown Campbell. You don't see amny palces with a good selection of tea in the area, so this is definitely a palce that I like to check out when I'm curious and need to try something new. The owner is a kind and accomodating lady who is more than willing to answer whatever questions you might have.
This tasting room is definitely a needle in a haystack. It features a variety of local small producers from the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. The owner is friendly and helpful with regards to the wines. She also oftentimes has the winemakers in to showcase their wines and talk about their business practices. The Wine Collective is a definite welcome addition to downtown.
I visited this winery as part of my trek to Livermore. They make many different wines using several different grape varietals. One thing that I think is unique about this winery is that they seem to concentrate more on making French styled wines, which is to say they pick their fruit earlier than many area wineries or other California wineries. This results in lower alcohol content as well as less sugar, which of course means less sweet wine, but oftenties that sweetness can mask the complexity of the wine which, for me is beneficial as I like the complexity of French wine.
The tasting room itself is a good size and it's very casual. They also include the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle of wine from them. It's definitely worth a trip if you are in the area for wine tasting.
I visited here while I was in the area and I decided to go there as I was looking at purchasing a particular bottle. Given that I've been interested in a specific bottle, I felt it natural that I visit the winery in person. I chose their reserve flight, which includes 5 wines as well as some cheese and a tapenade. The wine is very good. I really enjoyed their Blanc de Noir as well as the Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir,
With respect to Steven Kent those are actually some of their cheaper bottles coming in at $34 and $38 respectively. While it isn't cheap, they represent some of the better values from the winery. I also did enjoy their library 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, but given that it was only offered as a magnum I could not justify the cost. The wine i was interested in tasting was their Petit Verdot. While it was interesting and informative, given it's price point i could not justify the purchase..
The staff members I interacted with were very friendly. And while it definitely is a more formal tasting room, the staff were very friendly and informative. During my time there a party of 4 did come in and they were assisted without issue or complaint. I definitely would consider returning if i was ever back in the area and in the mood for a more formal styled tasting.
I had a craving for Indian food and after reading the Yelp revies I chose this place. I ordered Rogan Josh, Lamb Vindaloo and Saag Paneer with a side of garlic naan. I chose to order the Vindaloo and Rogan Josh spicy and while the heat levels weren't quite up to my personal standard, they were very spicy, which made me quite happy regardless. The Saag Paneer was Creamy and delicious and naan was fresh.
Given that i got take out, the food was also packed quite well and I made it home without any issue from the food.
With respect to the location and decor it is tucked away need some business parks so I wonder if they do mainly cater to the local businesses. I will also say that it is a buit simplistic looking unlike Passage to India or Amber India. However the food is delicious and actually a fair bit cheaper than the other establishments.
I would definitely consider returning here if I had another craving for Indian food.
I needed a new car deck as my in dash CD changer was bricked and I decided to update it into the current decade. After reading the reviews I chose this place. I mostly dealt with Patrick and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately don't remember.
First things first, it's clear that they mainly cater to car enthusiasts, ie: people with tuned cars with higher end stereo systems. That being said, Patrick was very professional in how he handled my needs. He asked me what features I absolutely needed and after I pointed out a potential deck that I was looking at, he actually recommended a cheaper model that would work just as well for my needs.
The job was quick, the price was far, In the future if I ever need to upgrade my stereo on this car or another one, Platinum auto works will be at the top of my list.
I came here because i needed some spare keys made. I've gone to a few other palces and more often than not, there are some kind of quirks with the keys that make them hard to use to downright unusable. The keys made here work seamlessly.
