Jessie was instrumental in helping me purchase my condo in the Rincon Hill area. I was really impressed how well-connected she was as we toured the various condo buildings in the SOMA area. Not only is she a pleasure to work with, but the process only took a few months from beginning to end and I never felt overly pressured to make a decision I wasn't comfortable making.

Right from the start, she expressed her patience and willingness to educate me on the complexities of purchasing a condo in SF and I actually learned quite a bit from her; it was like having a personal tutor on the weekends preparing for the broker exam!

I would not hesitate to refer any of my friends or family to her if they were ever in the market.

Jessie - thank you for everything you've done for us!

I've tried several different dry cleaners in the area but none of them have matched the quality of service I've experienced here. Even after moving to SF, I continue to bring my clothes here whenever I find myself back in the area.

They're extremely attentive to detail which I can appreciate when it comes to dry cleaning and pressing. The collars are always consistently pressed perfectly and my clothes come back nice and clean every time!

This was our final stop for day 1 of the Wine Road's "A Wine and Food Affair" event after having visited a total of 10 wineries within a 6 hour timeframe.

The Korbel grounds is quite impressive that reminded me of Testarossa in Los Gatos. However, the ambiance, as I expected, is a little more on the side of pretentious given Korbel is found everywhere at most Safeways, Bevmos, and general liquor stores.

The staff was pretty easy-going and friendly and the tastings were decent, although I'm not much of a champagne drinker.

For the event, Chef Robin Lehnhoff-McCray served a roasted golden beet salad with pears, arugula, and Point Reyes blue cheese that was paired with Korbel's Le Premier Russian River Valley champagne. This actually turned out to be very tasty even with the fact I don't usually prefer beets nor champagne.

I would try to come back again just to check out their tour of the facility.

Olivet Road in Santa Rosa is a row of quaint little wineries and tasting rooms and Sunce Winery is on the list for places to come back to whenever I'm in the area.

This was one of our stops during the weekend event for Wine Road's "A Wine and Food Affair" where chef Denise Stewart prepared a Moussaka Lasagna dish (the recipe is originally from Sunce winemaker Frane Franicevic) that was paired with the '07 Zemlja's Blend (50% Barbera, 50% Nebbiolo). This was certainly an interesting dish as it was a fusion of Croatian-style moussaka and American-style lasagna.

The tasting room itself is very small and intimate and can become very crowded during peak hours and busier days. In the back there's a space where you can also sample some of their wines directly from the barrels (if available).

The staff was very courteous and definitely knowledgeable about their wines and I ended up bringing home a couple bottles of their Zemlja's Blend as it turned out to be very nice for the food pairing event.

As we continued our journey through the various wineries on Olivet Road, coming across DeLoach was a nice little treat as we tasted a variety of wonderful Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.

Chef Sue boy and sous chef Lisa Porter prepared a Hawaiian kalua pork dish served with rice that was paired with their '08 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and it turned out to be fantastic. I ended up bringing home a few bottles myself.

One thing to note in the garden is a pretty cool wooden carving of a person that seems to be holding another miniature-sized person in one hand, in the same pose. I really liked how the entire statue was carved out of a single wooden block and looked very earthy but surreal.

This winery is also suitable for a nice outdoor picnic as the views of the grounds are quite nice and the garden is well maintained.
