Food (when available) was delicious. We were just a little upset that they were out of two of our four choices and didn't let us know in the first place...
Atmosphere was nice even though a little loud with the jazz band and the saxophone. But the quality of the music made up for it.
Overall good experience but a little disappointed.
This might not be the the most insightful review for cafe crepe since I didn't have any of the crepes (maybe the fundamental mistake leading to the very poor lunch experience...). I had the margarita pizza and it wasn't good. The tomatoes tasted old and there really wasn't much to it other than that. The panini was also a bummer - the cheese wasn't melted, the ham was no good.
Basically a horrible lunch experience, however the crepes did look nice. So if you go there try the crepes...
Great food, service and atmosphere. The sirloin steak (rare) was tender and tasty as can be. The lamb was also cooked to perfection.
The deserts were a delightful and surprisingly sophisticated (the macaronade especially is worth trying).
We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the little next door to anyone who doesn't want to pay the full price at the Little Door but still wants the quality of the food and service (both restaurants share the same chef and kitchen...)
Overall excellent experience!
Awesome tour! Very insightful. Norman (our guide) was full of anecdotes, extremely funny and knowledgeable. We got to visit the set of the big bang theory (among others) and the tour would pretty much accommodate any special request should anyone want to see something specific.
Worth every single penny of the $50.
Great atmosphere, good food, charming people, decent pricing, what more could you ask for? The baby ribs are a treat, delicious and tender. The boudin and its moutarde a l'ancienne are a perfect starter. It was worth the wait!
