Love this place and Clayton has cute restaurants and bars for refueling after a hike. It's an off leash park which is really cool. Sometimes the trail is narrow and you're surely rubbing up on poison oak. Great views.
I'm stumped. I work near here and could eat one of their burritos everyday. They are good (veggie) and inexpensive. Great lunch food. I've probably had a lunch burrito there 100 times, no joke. The issue I have is the staff are rude. I don't think they are intentionally rude, but they certainly are not intentionally nice. Each time I go they act like I've never been there before (even if it's the 5th day in a row). Different people make the burrito differently and although I specify, they don't make it consistently. Today there was lettuce in my burrito for the first time ever. I've seen many customers walk out confused about why the staff was so rude to them. Once a lady was given a hard time because she wanted a paper bag for her salsas. Once the guy got mad at me because I asked for chips, he angrily told me there were no chips. Ok, I can accept that, but don't get mad at me for asking for chips, which I get every other time i come. Odd.
The last 6 times I've been there I told my self afterward that it was the last time I would go there. I think the real last time just happened.
Quick update: One of the owners of Lang saw my review and contacted me with concern. She apologized for the slip up and sent a check to cover my repair costs. What a class act!
Unfortunately we were not wow-ed by dinner. We are not foodies. This was food similar to what my mom would make and she's a country-cookin' woman. At $50 a person, I expected to really like at least one of the four dishes and that didn't happen. It was good, fine.
