I recently traded in my '11 Cooper for a '14 Cooper, and had a great experience with Princeton Mini. My salesperson was Kyle Albahary; he was very helpful in ordering the new car and customizing it just the way I wanted, but he didn't pressure me into buying extras that I didn't need.
When the car arrived he contacted my insurance agent so that was already taken care of when we picked up the car. The paperwork/financing process with Glenn Clark went very smoothly and quickly as well. Glenn was friendly and professional, and he didn't pressure me into buying an additional warranty like some dealerships are apt to do.
The dealership itself is very clean and comfortable with free WiFi, and the location is easy to access. I love my new Mini, and would definitely recommend this dealership. I've bought many cars over the years and this was by far the best experience I've ever had.
I went here today for the first time, and I couldn't be happier. Beth was very thorough, showed me all of the color swatches and made sure we agreed on the right color. She was very friendly and attentive, making sure I was comfortable, offering me coffee or water, etc. I got a very vivid red color, and she made sure she cleaned up all the dye on my hairline, and she gave me some tips for making the color last longer. The color is gorgeous, and the charge for a single-process and blowout was only $75, which is less than I'm used to paying. I'm definitely going back to Beth when it's time for a touch-up!
Excellent cupcakes, and the staff is always friendly. When my husband and I lived in Plainsboro, we visited Sugar+Sunshine quite often.
My main complaint is their hours and lack of updating their website. This past Saturday we were craving cupcakes, so we drove to Sugar+Sunshine, about a 25 minute drive. I checked their website first, to make sure they were open - it said they're open until 6pm on Saturdays. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a sign stating that they were closed on Saturday for the Memorial Day holiday. I'm all for people enjoying a long holiday, but couldn't they have put a little notice on the website? We didn't feel like driving into Princeton, so we ended up getting a mediocre dessert at Stop & Shop instead. Huge let-down. :(
We've ordered pizza to go from here a couple of times, and it was delicious - both times, we got the vodka pie and we loved it (although the second time, they forgot to put the basil on top).
Last night we decided to go for dinner and see how they do with entrees. We were told to sit wherever we'd like; we walked to the "dining room" which is essentially a hallway lined with tables. We sat toward the front of the room right by the kitchen, yet it took over 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and bring menus. I should note that there were maybe 5 other tables with 2 people each, so it wasn't overly busy.
When the waitress finally returned, we placed our orders - both of which came with bread and soup. Our drinks didn't show up for at least 10 minutes. About 10 minutes after that, the bread arrived and it was another 15 minutes before we got our soup. My husband loved his soup (cream of tomato) but my pasta fagioli was...strange.
We sat and waited...and waited...and about 25 minutes after finishing the soup, our entrees arrived.
My husband liked his vodka rigatoni; I tasted it and it was pretty good.
I ordered chicken piccata over angel hair, something I order very often at other restaurants; I've never seen it prepared like this. There were about a dozen whole garlic cloves in the oily sauce, along with some chopped garlic for good measure, and about a 1/2 cup of capers. I love garlic and cook with it nearly every day, but this was unreal. And I like capers, but nobody needs that many salty capers on one plate. The chicken was dry and tough; the sauce was too garlicky, very oily and didn't taste like piccata - even after squeezing lemon onto the chicken, I could barely taste lemon.
An hour and a half after arriving, we finally finished the meal and I handed our waitress a coupon. She moseyed away to print the check and when she brought it over, the coupon hadn't been applied. I pointed this out to her and she moseyed back to the cash register to fix the error.
We were really hoping this could be our go-to Italian restaurant, as we just moved to the area. However, this will just be a pizza place for us (to-go only!) and when we want a nice sit-down dinner, we'll go to elsewhere.
I went here for the first time today, after injuring my knee. The office is beautifully decorated, open & airy and very calming, and the receptionist was very nice. I saw Dr. Cha, who was friendly and very informative about my injury and how to care for it. I was x-rayed and got the results immediately. I arrived around 10:20am and was out of there by 11am, which is pretty amazing. I've never been in and out of a doctor's office so quickly, even when I've had appointments. Also, you can call ahead of time to find out how long the wait will be.
We recently moved to the area, and tried Hunan House for the first time today. It was fantastic. The first thing we noticed was that they have those big, somewhat greasy fried noodles on the table. Those are so much better than the narrow, dry ones you get at some Chinese restaurants. The duck sauce is delicious too.
I started with wonton soup which had a very rich, flavorful broth. My husband started with scallion pancakes and he said they were very good.
Beef with snow peas: it also had bok choy and bamboo shoots, in a brown sauce. The beef was very tender, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The sauce wasn't oily or salty, just very flavorful.
Ginger chicken: this was one of their specials. It was very good but if you're not a big fan of ginger, stay away from this one. It consisted of chicken, green beans and tons of ginger in a very ginger-y sauce.
We also had pork fried rice, which was deee-lish! Lots of roasted pork, scrambled egg and onions.
The portions are very generous here, and the waiters are all really friendly. We've definitely found our go-to Chinese restaurant.
We used All Jersey Moving for a move from Bergen County to Mercer County. The whole process was super-easy - from the first phone call, to receiving the quote, to moving day.
Nate and the crew arrived on time and worked very efficiently. They wrapped our furniture very carefully and unloaded our belongings with the same level of care. Everything arrived at our new home in perfect condition, and they got it done before winter storm Nemo hit our area, which was a big relief! Thank you, All Jersey!!!
Annie's Nails is the best nail salon in North Bergen (I've tried most of them). The girls who work there are really sweet, and they do a great job. Ana, the owner, is also very friendly and always remembers me - even when it's been a while since my last visit.
The prices here are awesome. $15 for a spa pedicure! $25 for a full set of tips w/ acrylic! I almost feel guilty paying so little, but I tip them well and that makes me feel a little better. ;)
If you want to feel pampered and walk out with beautiful hands & feet - and still have some money in your pocket - this is the place to go.
I went here for the first time today, and I was extremely pleased.
Yes, I waited for about an hour - but I didn't have an appointment, so that's to be expected.
The front desk staff was very friendly, as was the nurse who did my intake. The nurse even deducted 4 pounds from my weight, to allow for the clothes/boots...thanks, Gustavo! :)
I saw Dr. Weiss, and he was fantastic. He was friendly and down-to-earth, and really took his time to check me out and ask questions. He explained everything in terms I could understand, without being condescending.
Another thing that I love about this practice is that they're very up-to-date with technology. The doctor typed up my prescriptions and "sent" them to my pharmacy immediately - by the time I got to CVS, the prescriptions were ready.
I highly recommend The Doctor Is In, and Dr. Weiss in particular.
Thank you, my fellow Yelpers!
My husband and I stayed in the Atlanta area for a few days' vacation and were thrilled to find Simon's. We loved it so much, we had dinner there two nights in a row.
The service is impeccable - friendly, attentive and very understanding/proactive with my allergies.
They start you off with warm bread and soft butter...great combination (if I had a dollar for every restaurant that serves room temperature bread with frozen butter...grrr!).
We both had the baked potato soup, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned.
The first night I had the sirloin and my husband had a combo of sirloin & Simon's chicken. Both entrees were huge, and beautifully cooked. The steaks were slightly charred on the outside, and tender on the inside.
The second night I had the twin filets, and Mark had the NY Strip. Once again, both were perfectly seasoned and cooked.
Both nights we ordered a slice of chocolate cake to bring back to the hotel...it was chocolate heaven.
Special shout-out to Chris & Beth, our awesome servers. Even the host was super-friendly and made us feel like VIPs.
If you're in the area (and even if you're not!) do yourself a favor and visit Simon's.
