We stayed here so we could catch an early flight. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were amazing, modern, quiet and affordable.
The lobby was also cool with a bar, pool table, lounging area - it was very trendy. The elevator felt like being in a disco with the black light thing but beyond that it was great if you are looking for a room near the airport.
Our room was so far from the 'lobby' that you would think they would at least give you a coffee pot or microwave so you don't have to get up first thing and drag yourself so far to their huge cafeteria with screaming children just to get your first cup of caffeine for the day.
We were in the newest wing, the Little Mermaid and not only was it so far away it was extremely loud. Every time somebody shut their door, opened their door, rolled a suitcase by your room it woke you up. It was horrible.
Last the cell phone service at this resort and most of the parks was crap. I have Verizon and my phone was roaming or could not pick up a signal. Friends we were with who had other carriers had the same problem. My phone was dead by noon from seeking a signal. It makes it hard to coordinate with your traveling party when you can't use your phone.
We loved this place and ate at it almost every night we stayed in San Francisco. It was walking distance from where we were staying and despite all the good restaurants in San Fran, we kept going back to this one.
The place was always packed but it was worth it. Food was fresh, menu was diverse -wish we had such delicious food in Arizona.
We love Mago Cafe and try and eat there as often as possible. We order the Chakra Bowl with extra sauce on the side and share it. I can't suggest any other dishes because I always get the same thing - when you find a good thing you stick with it!
It's a little hard to find this place but once you do you will love it. The food is amazing and the portions are so large that we share. The Calzones are just amazing. Living in Sedona, we often just order one to go. Everything we have ever ordered here has been yummy.
We stumbled upon this place and loved it. We were taking a road trip to see the leaves change in Colorado and stayed in Manitou Springs before cutting across the state. I love the Arts and Crafts period and Mission styled homes, so this place was a delight.
Next time I stay at this place I will plan for more time to explore the town and area and will definitely stay longer.
We loved the Parker House. We stayed two nights and couldn't have been happier. We were on our honeymoon and wanted to visit San Francisco, have the chance to walk to Castro and see the sites. The Parker House was located in the Mission District and we walked everywhere, even to the trolly which took us to the Pier and uptown.
We also enjoyed the other guests during breakfast, getting to know people from around the world. There are two buildings on their grounds and we stayed in the newly renovated one. I would definitely stay here again.
We eat sushi here about once a week. In the summer it is even better as there is seating outside and live music on the weekends. (The Martini Bar is attached to the restaurant).
We recommend the Sonic Boom roll, one of our favorites.
We are locals and love this place. It is usually hard to find parking in their lot so I park at the hotel next door at the far end, which is easier to get in and out of.
If you want a quick meal, you can get a hotdog, chips and soda for like $5.00 and there are lots of fun toppings you can put on the hotdog. Great seating as well with nice views.
