The atmosphere inside the Eatery is warm and inviting and the patio is great in the summer. They have some really neat old photographs of Milwaukee "back in the day" that are great conversation pieces. The servers are friendly and attentive. The owner is always present in the restaurant, giving a hand to the servers and paying close attention to the customers. We have eaten some great food in this restaurant including braised short ribs, cream of mushroom soup, salmon po boy , and the BBQ pork sandwhich.
Eatery, we hope you stick around.
I really love this place. I used to live around the corner and I practically lived off their vegy plate. Their gyro is good also, but I rarely get it because they give you so much (which I guess is a plus for a lot). The folks that run this place are nice too. Kind of place you feel good supporting. Leave room for the baklava which is the reciepe of one of the owners moms...or something like that.
This place is great. We had the red curry w/ tofu and the garlic stir fry. The curry was the best I've had in Milwaukee. The decor is beautiful and the service was excellent. They really need to update the exterior look of the place to match the inside. I hope everyone in search of yummy food supports this new local place!
