One of my favorite dinner and date spots, I fell in love with their lobster rolls at the first bite. I've tried quite a few lobster rolls elsewhere and none of them can touch this one. Their clam chowder is also quite excellent as an appetizer. Furthermore, the service is always friendly and prompt here while the atmosphere is casual and friendly just like one would expect out of a New England seafood joint.
Good late night drunk food. If you're torn between getting a burrito and getting Indian food, there's no need to decide anymore. The rolls here are a nice cheap little snack. Filling but not overly so, all the different menu options are quite flavorful. I always bring my out of town friends here after an evening at Comedy Cellar.
My favorite Indian restaurant in the city, I always enjoy coming here. Great atmosphere and service but perhaps most importantly, this is the only Indian restaurant I know where I can order the lamb vindaloo and NOT get explosive diarrhea afterwards. That's because of higher quality ingredients. :)
This is my second favorite Indian restaurant in the city after Brick Lane Curry House in the East Village. The menu consists of all your favorite Indian restaurant choices but with a noticeably better grade of ingredients. The ambiance is elegant and quiet but getting the lunch combo to go is also a solid choice. I also love the array of dipping sauces that you get with your order.
A nice little addition to the 20th Street lineup of drink and food spots. They have an excellent selection of bubbly and the place is comfortable and never too crowded. The service is pretty good too. Just a good all around sparkling drink lounge.
Quick and courteous service, great juices and smoothies, lots of healthy snacks to choose from, this is a great one stop shop for getting your health on. I personally love the Green Juice and RAW Revitalize. Also the Kind bars and Justin's peanut butter cups are awesome!
I've only been here a few times but it never disappoints. They have real deal Sichuan cuisine here with those wonderful little peppers that make your lips tingle. Any time, someone asks me for a Sichuan recommendation (invariably someone who's affluent time in China), this is where I send them. I love the mapo doufu and the shuizhuyu! My two favorite dishes. So if you think you can handle authentic Sichuanese heat, check this place out. Also, almost all the customers are mainland Chinese, I've noticed. That's how you know this place is the real deal.
I've ordered here a few times from work. My Chinese co-workers love this place! Although I scarcely trust their taste in Asian food for a variety of reasons. (How can someone grow up in China where they have good authentic Chinese food and then come here and shovel American Chinese cat crap down your throat three times a day?!). At any rate, this place offers Malaysian food. Honestly, I want to like this place more but every time I order from here, my stomach gets upset. I once came here with a friend and she reported the same thing. Their dishes are tasty though. And cheap but you get what you pay for. But given a choice, I'll take Vietnamese or Thai food any day.
