We recently had a wedding rehearsal of 30+ people. Andora was wonderful! The food was unique and delicious. The staff was accommodating and provided excellent service. The setting was comfortable for our group and adequately private.
Both the party planning process and well as the meal service itself were very well handled.
We can't wait to come back for anniversary meals!
Needed a nice meal after a day-trip of wine-tasting with my parents who were visiting from out of town.
This place is SPOT-ON in every regard. Great food, great service, nice location and there is no pretension which usually comes with French dining of this caliber.
I can't wait to get back North to have dinner here!
I am from Pittsburgh but live in San Francisco now, and I come home to eat at this place Every Single Time.
Best Chinese food of my life... veggie dumplings and some amazing chicken ALWAYS hit the spot.
Best Cheese steak in the city.
The bread is solid on its own, and they use good ingredients for being a place that fries up all its food.
You're not eating healthfully but, then again, you didn't come here to so you might as well enjoy the perfect indulgence!
Hands down best lunch in SOMA.
This place gives new meaning to the word "slow food" -- so don't go on a busy work day-- but it is totally worth the wait and also quite cheap for the delicious flavors and food you are served.
Great brunch mimosa (mmm...and comes in blood orange too!). Great savory egg dishes.
But there are only a few dishes for those with a sweet tooth which makes it hard for me to come here with my boyfriend.
Also, a breakfast spot like this should have a weekly special to keep its novelty since there are many great spots in the city. That being said, when I want a mimosa and a scramble, Eats is where I come.
Is the location less-than-stellar? Yes.
Is there a little bit of pretension about the place? Yes.
However, hands down, this place has the BEST quiche (oh so light and fluffy flavorful with the perfect side salad) I have ever tasted in my life. I'll drive downtown on a weekend to come snatch that up any morning!
This lady is an absolutely fantastic neighborhood tailor, and she is such a sweetheart.
I also really like her taste in selecting her consignment items so every time I come for an alteration, I usually happily leave with a new clothing snag as well.
Thanks for your great seam-work and being generally awesome Revival!
P.S. The street parking is really easy here so thanks for the added convenience.
Moving from LA, I have been dying for a taco here and was pleasantly surprised to find a place in my neighborhood. However, I cannot give this place a full and glowing endorsement-- instead it just will have to do.
Green Chile has pretty solid food. The soft chicken tacos and blue corn tortias just melt in your mouth and have some really nice flavors to them, however the hassles of this place make it less than perfect and I often have to weigh the benefits of the food with the cost of dealing with the setup.
First it generally runs a bit expensive, but I would be glad to pay if the customer experience was more positive. This place always has a huge line and it set up in this awkward way where people stand at the door to order and then have to find their own table. Often times to get a table you literally have to "stake your claim" and stalk people who are eating. Also, the food does not come quickly so you are the jerk taking up a seat while other people want to eat. Also, the staff is quite slow and they don't seem to care about the mess going on on the other side of their counter most of the time.
Once I tried to just take my order out to avoid all of this mess, but the restaurants green policy means they just wrap everything in foil and throw it in a bag. I think there ended up being more open face chicken taco in the bag then left for me to eat...but then again I did almost get my taco fix.
I've spent the past year going to different salons in different neighborhoods (Marina, Pac Heights, Nob Hill) trying to find a steady. Turns out I found the best one on my first try!
Salon Baobao and Tony (should be Toni?) are so great! The Salon is nice and modern but there is no pretension, and for my hair type (long and layered locks) my stylist does it perfectly every time. I also really like her styling so I never have to come out of the salon and re-arrange my hair to the way I really like it.
I think part of the reason she is so great is she really listens to her customer and what they are comfortable with and part of it is she is just great at what she does!
And I also always have a good time with the crew there. They are fun!
Literally love you guys. Keep doing a great job.
