Right around the corner from Pointe du Hoc. Food is okay. Won't be your favorite meal in France, might be your worst if you are lucky enough. Although, it is serviceable and convenient and the service is friendly.
Ducked in for a quick crepe before the Tour de France. The man was very nice even though we did not speak French. The crepes came out quickly and were delicious. All of a sudden we were being rushed out. The man explained how he had another job and had to be there. He should have told us they were closing soon before he sat us. He was rushing around cleaning up and became very abrupt. I give the place 4 stars for the crepes but take two away for how uncomfortable we felt as we were finishing up eating.
The crepes are good. I just wouldn't go back if is was near 3 o'clock.
4€! Delicious and quick. 4 choices each day. We got three different ones and they were all fantastic. Very local feel and not the least bit touristy. Also got a salad and it was extremely fresh - cucumbers, corn, fruit. A short walk from the center as well.
Being from the US we generally eat earlier than Europeans so waiting was not a problem. The service was excellent and the food was even better. We had the stew which was tender and flavorful. The veal meatballs were delicious. The beer menu is extensive and you can't really go wrong with Belgium beers. If you are in the area you should definitely give this a try!!
I love breakfast and Wild Eggs is in my top 3 (possibly top 2) breakfast places of all times. Unfortunately we were only in Lexington for a short stay so I could only eat there twice. Even the basics like oatmeal not only have a beautiful presentation but are delicious as well. We had the grits of the day both days and they were fabulous!! If you like French toast - get the stuffed!! Amazing!! I am sad because I don't live anywhere near Lexington and may never get back to Wild Eggs. But I have my memories...
Marché Artisan is why I love Yelp. Never would have found this place on our own. And my life would have been emptier because of it. Everything we had was fantastic! Egg sandwich - amazing! French Toast - perfect! Crépes - delicious!
Cool location with laid back rustic feel. It happened to be a beautiful fall day when we ate there which added to the experience. The food was solid for a shack; lobster was delicious! Would definitely go back if the weather was right.
