Great experience with their pre-opening! We had grilled salmon, shrimp and fish and chips. It was all really good, in a fast-casual (ie Chipotle, Panera, etc) setting.

Clean, friendly, and the service was speedy even though they were busy.

I loved my grilled salmon and my wife loved the shrimp in particular.

Glad to see this new business here in town and opening in a tough time for restaurants.

This review is to specifically praise a staff member named Cora. I drive for Postmates on the side. I received an order tonight for order and pick up so I went in and placed the order with a young lady. She was very polite - she took my order and told me it would be a 10 minute wait, so I let my Postmates customer know.

As I was waiting other customers came in and ordered. Then a homeless man entered. He walked to the counter and sounded like he mumbled. She asked if he wanted pizza. And "are you hungry?" "Did you want to order a pizza?" She tried to figure out what he wanted but it was hard to understand him. She asked "do you not have any money?" He nodded. "It's okay, you can get something." She figured out which pizza he wanted. She asked if he wanted a drink. He didn't appear to want one but she said "It's okay, you can get one." And she pointed to the cooler to the side. She told him it would be a few minutes and his pizza would be ready. He went outside to wait.

I saw all of this happen. I assumed she might just give him the pizza for free. But she then walked to the back and came back with a credit card. She paid for the order. It was then that I realized just what I was seeing, and what kind of person this young lady is.

She paid for the order herself. And then she went about her business. She did not tell the other people in the store what she did. She wasn't unhappy about having to do any of this - she was friendly and warm the entire time I was in the store. (Side note, I also saw her frequently wash her hands, which is amazing).

I had previously ordered from here so I looked at my receipt and saw her name. Her name is Cora. When she brought me my delivery order to take I asked if that was her name and she said it was. I told her that I saw what she did and it was very kind. She said thank you.

We're in a crazy and scary world right now, with the Corona virus situation. What this world needs is more kindness and grace. And Cora personified that tonight. I am absolutely going to come back and order pizza from this store, even though it's not super close to my house. This was the kind of experience that anyone would be thrilled to have when they go out - I hope that Cora receives the proper recognition.

The Cat Doctor deserves five stars.

My wife's cat of 11 years suddenly got sick this summer. His breed is supposed to live 15-20 years so it was very unexpected. We had just moved into the area so we didn't have a veterinarian. We found one in Newbury Park and took him there three times. Even though the service was competent it never felt like the vet cared about our cat or, by extension, us. He was very professional, but there was no connection. Meanwhile, our cat kept getting sicker and weaker. So we decided, in desperation, maybe a second opinion might help.

I found the Cat Doctor on Yelp. He had good reviews and I liked that he specialized in cats, so we made an appointment.

Everything about our experience with Dr Cody and his staff was excellent. On the phone setting up the appointment, when we arrived at the office, and when the assistant was taking his vitals everyone was so kind. I immediately felt that these folks CARED about us and our experience. And they LOVED cats. It made us feel okay, in a really hard time. Dr Cody came in and let us know after examining him that his original diagnosis was probably accurate. But he gave us a few more things to try. And the whole time he was very gentle and kind to our little guy.

A few days later our cat took a turn for the worse. They saw us on a Saturday morning with no notice. He let us know there wasn't anything else we could do at this point. He was very kind and empathetic while he told us what our options were at that point, and how it would all go.

No one wants to lose a beloved pet. If it has to happen, you want to know that you did your best and that the person you went to to care for him did their best. You want your cat to be treated like a member of the family. By the time we got to the Cat Doctor there wasn't anything he could do to change the outcome. But he treated us and our cat with such genuine kindness that it made all of the difference in the world.

Thank you Dr Cody for walking with us in those few days with such gentle grace. I can't recommend you and your team highly enough.

I just spent TWENTY TWO minutes in the drive thru at the window of this Santana's waiting for four rolled tacos. TWENTY TWO MINUTES.

I normally love this chain; this store is one of three that I will at at. Not anymore. I understand being busy. And I understand being short staffed; perhaps they were. But that is ridiculous. I sat there at the window, hearing a continual beeping noise, with no one there to even tell me that they were busy, it'd be a few more minutes, etc. No service, no food. Just an empty window. I am never coming back to this Santana's.

Here's my receipt. Order placed at 5:58 pm. Food in hand at 6:20 pm.

Found this place on Yelp and it looked cool so we drove over from visiting the LBJ Library for happy hour. We loved it! The staff was friendly. The happy hour appetizers were delicious! The queso and the red chili fries were amazing - the hint of lime on the fries is unique but brilliant. I had the hickory and bacon burger (the Fat Jack Burger) and give it a thumbs up. Glad we came. They're farm to table and they locally source. The menu was unique enough that we felt like it was good food with an Austin flair, which is what we wanted.
