This is a must if you find yourself in the area. We swung by at my dads insistence (also since he was driving we didn't have much say). But I am happy we stopped. He got his fresh sliced bacon.
They had some pulled pork green chili burritos which the lady waiting on us bragged about how good they were since she made them, well when someone brags like that you gotta have one and boy are we glad we did. The burrito rocked!
They say the little things count, and Simon's does their best to remember that. Went there for our anniversary and when making reservations they always ask if there is a special occasion you're celebrating. When you arrive and check in with the hostess they will say "happy anniversary" or whatever the occasion calls for and they even inform the waiter. To give it just a little bit more they decorate your table just a tad to make it just that must more special. I am not sure if they try to sit you at a window seat overlooking the inlet or not but so far it has paid off and we had a lovely view and great food and service.
I love this place, good steaks, good lunches. I have yet to have bad food here. The biggest challenge for me here was when I first tried this restaurant I was introduced to the Lettuce Wedge for the first time. Man is there a right way to eat this thing? Tasted great but felt odd eating salad with a fork and knife.
The oddest part is from the inside you would never know it was in a Mall...
I was hesitant to go in here just because it was a mall restaurant. But some friends talked me and the wife into giving it a shot. Pleasantly surprised. The food was great! We had the Saigon Steak which was pretty good. Not to mention we drooled when we saw them carrying bowls of soup to other tables. Going to have to try that next!
