Don't expected any customer service form this location, especially if you are in the store an hour before closing. Oh and don't commit the cardinal sin of using the provided mirrors to see if a jacket fits. Apparently the manager doesn't like this kind of retail action and sends their assistants over to harass you out of the store.
Best Indian Restaurant in the Valley so far!!!
The service was exceptional, the owner was very hospitable, but not over the top.
I had one of the lunchtime specials and loved it. The lunchtime menu has a great selection, the prices are good, starting from $5.95, and you get just the right amount of food. I'm now used to the lunchtime buffet that most Indian restaurants in LA put out so this was a pleasant change.
I tried the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, I prefer my Indian food on the spicy side and they got it just right.
Overall this is a great neighborhood treasure, the tastes, service and value was just right.
Thanks for a great lunch :o)
The food wasn't so great, the service was slow but the Manager was very apologetic!
Well I'm not really a fan of chain restaurants. For convenience you will often find me in one, but you wont find me reviewing many unless they are exceptional or exceptionally bad!
Until this experience I had thought that Mexican food was nearly impossible to screw up! How wrong can you be. My visit was just after the normal afternoon lunch rush on a Saturday.
I have run restaurants before and I know scheduling can be a nightmare, but that is no excuse for the staff that are working, falling apart with just 6 tables to serve.
The service was slow, the order was taken down in a rush and delivered incorrectly. The food that did arrive had been standing for a long time under a hot plate before it was served making everything rubbery.
The Manager did apologize for his mistake in scheduling too few staff and comped one of our meals. All of this could have been avoided if the some of the staff clearly on a break in the bar area had worked together as a team and helped out the overloaded waitress that was trying her hardest in a losing battle.
A great little neighborhood treasure. Just how an Italian restaurant should be. No tacky decor or Sinatra being blasted. Such a refreshing change to the countless Italian chain restaurants in LA.
The food was fresh, well prepared and tasty. What really sets this place out is the service. Our party of eight where looked after from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. The staff were warm and friendly, you actually felt like you where their guests. Just the way an Italian restaurant should feel.
I'm glad I was introduced to this place. I will definitely be stopping by again.
Being from the UK I'm constantly searching for a good Indian Restaurant (The national dish is no longer Fish & Chips it's Chicken Tikka Masala and the Balti originates from Birmingham)!
I would have to say that this is one of the best Indian Restaurants in the whole of LA. The food was fresh, complimentary onion bhajis, complimentary poppadoms, and great service.
The vegetarian dishes were just as good as the meat dishes. I was there using a coupon but the value, taste and service was enough to come again and pay full price.
Bill the manager was an excellent host and informed us that they do free delivery in our area!!!
A great evening out.
$2.50 Tuesdays! This place has some of the best hot dogs I've tasted in Southern California. The menu is made up of dogs from around the country, many combos seem a little out there but once tried are delicious. The spicy Italian is my current favorite, and for dessert the Twinkie dog has to be the one.
The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about his dogs so if you are having trouble choosing from the extensive menu you have someone to guide you to the right one.
This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The food is simply divine, the wait staff are attentive and don't have the usual Hollywood attitude.
A great place for a date and dinning alfresco. On Mondays everything is Half Price making this place even more tempting.
