It was SO important to me to purchase my bridal gown through a local boutique and not a big chain store. When I called or posted something here on FB I always heard back very quickly/immediately. When I went in for my appointment Julie (the owner) was there to greet me and it was just the two of us in the store. I literally got one-on-one attention I got was unmatched. I shopped during their sample sale and got 25% off my dress! If all this wasn't amazing enough, she had a tv hooked up to her laptop just so brides can video chat with their families that may be out of state!
I walked in at 10 am and by 11:30 am I had tried on about 5 dresses, re tried the one I wanted, got dressed again, had some celebratory champagne, paid for my dress, and was back in my car! If you want a simple pain free experience and want some great personal attention then Julie's Bridal is the place to go!!
Awesome big yet intimate space and a perfectly dreary day to warm up with a cup of coffee! Cait (co-owner) told us stories about her and her brand spankin new husband's nuptials over an awesome cup made "pour over" style, some background about the various local artwork, and most importantly shared her love of coffee.
We got to break in their new pour over set up and try some coffees that are for VIPs only!!!!!
Seriously. This batch of grinds aren't available to the public at the time because they were waiting for the fine people of Yelp to taste test first ;)
Check out this space everyone...Corey really put together an awesome event and got us all jazzed up about this cool new place.
We are going back later this week to check out an awesome live acoustic guitar show! See you there!
Came here knowing what we wanted but still our sales guy "dave" really took care of us here! He was super patient and explained everything from payment options, features of cars, and his personal experiences. When the manager wouldn't go any lower on the price of the car, he even wrote us a personal check to make sure we left satisfied. We did and now a month into owning our new car we are so happy and although we also own a Honda...I gotta say that I think we're Hyundai people now ;)
Small location and a lot of product! Keeps your head on a constant swivel that's for sure!
Great service from the employees and they always have fun sales going on. This location is right off the main road on the corner and is super convenient for me so I frequent it often.
Very, umm, interesting location for this store. Compared to other TJ Maxx locations this one is great because there aren't dust bunnies all over the dressing room. That was ALWAYS my biggest complaint and annoyance when I go to other discount retail stores.
Besides the clothes (PLEASE expand the atheletic department!) there is a nice home goods section. I picked up a nice slab of marble and marble coasters for a very low price.
Cute local place-they seem to have their regulars as the lady behind the cash register was on a first name basis with some of the store perusers.
I will say that some of the people in the store looked like they were straight out of honey boo boo child ;)
Bascially the gist of the store is that they offer home style cooking frozen and packaged up. They have options like pizza crusts to chicken pot pies. All come with defrosting and cooking instructions.
There were a ton of samples of their offerings. I was only tempted by one-and it was a sampling of chips and guac. It's my impression that samples are to show your patrons the quality of your food, and tempt them in to purchasing your goods. However the chips were stale and the guac was off as well. Disappointing.
I didn't purchase anything because the price points for everything were so ridiculous. Additionally for a store that is offering home style cooking to take home I would hope that they would have offered cleaner, more nutritious foods, maybe some local sourced produce/meat but I didn't see anything of the sorts. Again, disappointing.
Great concept but there are some kinks that need to be worked out before I visit again.
I came a little late and missed most of the food :( disappointing but alas this review is not of the food.
Corey introduced himself as the charming host of this and future events in Madison. He revealed some of his plans and future events that are in the works. Exciting things are coming to Madison from the fabulous Yelp folks! Corey and his colleague-Rachel from Milwaukee- were both so lovely and welcoming! Corey remembered a lot of the Yelpers and knew all our names (not sure if it's because of the nametags though ;))
Everything was well organized from the initial event posting to event check ins and all they way to the end of the party! There was a ton of Yelp SWAG given out and best dressed awards! The decor was very unique and very Yelpy!
Thanks to HotelRed, Corey and Rachel for a fun Launch party!
