Stopped in at the Tavern for lunch!! The Service was great the food, outstanding! Salmon Caesar Salad. Fresh and delicious! My husband loved the Lobster Salad plate with the Maple Cider dressing. Appetizer was scallops and bacon with a honey Dijon dipping sauce. Sooo good!
Tonight was my fourth time at Artfully Yours in Mashpee (next to Roach Brothers). I find it so much fun. A great Gals night out. I sipped on a lovely Chardonnay and painted a fantastic Fourth of July scene. Tina is so much fun and her artists are great. They walk you through the painting one step at a time, allow you to be as creative as you wish and provide individual help when needed. The music is great and tonight we were all singing along!
I completed three other paintings this season as well! A Parisian Street Scene, a fun FISH painting and a great Sailing piece. This is the perfect way to unwind, hang out with friends and meet people! I just signed up for the Sandy Neck scene on July 16 with my sisters and a group of friends! Can't wait!!
I have lived on Cape Cod since 1978 and have never been on a Whale Watch. I wanted to show a guest from Denmark a beautiful New England day. We drove from the Canal to Provincetown via 6A stopping along the way for photos and sight seeing. We took the 1:30 Dolphin Fleet IX and could not believe our eyes. The trip was breathtaking!
There had to have been 50+ whales around our boat just as the previous poster mentioned. I was spinning from left to right snapping photos!
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice providing information and navigating the boat to make sure everyone had a chance to see the whales.
I would go again in a heartbeat!
I discovered Nirvana in January and I cannot stop going back! I meet a friend several mornings a month at Nirvana for inspirational "coffee chats". The atmosphere is charming, the people [employees and patrons] are warm and friendly and the coffee and pastries delicious!
These folks are amazing! My son surprised me and reserved seats for our family of 6 and half way through the night I was called out of the audience by name. My son arranged ahead of time for my 50th birthday. They interviewed me in front of the audience about how I met my husband and how he proposed to me. It was a cute, warm and funny story. I had no idea when they were finished that they were going to recreate my story in a matter of seconds - no rehearsing. The humor they added and the hysterical quick wit was captured on a DVD that we watch over and over! We have returned several times!! The Improv talent is amazing - a different show every time we go!
Location, location, location!
And, Service with a smile - I think they invented that phrase! Friendliest staff, greatest service, beautiful rooms. I have stayed here multiple times and will stay again!
I try to get a room with a fireplace when I know I am going to spend some time in the room during the winter months! Yes, you can have a real fire in that fireplace!!!
From a smile and a genuine welcome at the curb and check in, to the assistance to your room, during your stay and at check out - these folks know Service Excellence life their life depended on it!
The history of the hotel including the oldest bellhop who has his very own storage room named after him! Jimmy the oldest bellboy (84 years old) in Boston is a wealth of information! He shared his story with me. I could have spent hours just chatting with him.
And, I have to say, I am spoiled by one very lovely lady named Mary, every time I stay there!
An 'authentic' Mediterranean restaurant with wonderful service, delicious food and a beautiful presentation! Chef Dave was amazing! We had some food allergy issues and Dave was very accommodating.
The Beef Tartar [his grandmother's recipe] Was great. While we were there...who walked in? His grandmother, mom and dad, and the rest of the family. We loved the small intimate family restaurant and the "out of this world" great food! The Chicken Saltimbocca ... mouth watering!!
Brick oven pizza ....oh sooo good! Plus, Great wine and dessert selection!
We can't wait to return!
