I love Norris Hardware. Everyone knows your name and it reminds me of an old timey business that doesn't really exist anymore. My garage door opener broke last week and they helped me every step of the way (even when I had to come back like 3 times when it wasn't working.. luckily it's right down the street). My husband and I love this place!!!
Want to start off by saying I created this yelp account last year but have yet to feel inclined to write any reviews...my husband owns a restaurant in the Palisades so I understand that yelp does more good than bad sometimes. My mind sure changed after this weekend!
I have been to Zinque a few times and have had a great time. The vibe was young and hip. The waitresses were super cute, fashionable and personable. It's right on Abbot Kinney so you expect the servers to be nice to look at and have good personalities. They provide you with a decent enough wine selection.. anyone can find something they like, and the food has been consistently good. My husband and I really like the male bartenders, they are fun without being smarmy.
I don't know if my waitress on Saturday was
A.) on her period
B.) forgot to take her anxiety meds
C.) needs to get laid
D.) all of the above
I am @ your business to have a good time lady! R-E-L-A-X. She was so stressed out it was stressing me out!! I can't think of the perfect word to describe our experience but she was the opposite of personable. She must be the general manager or something because she was screaming at her co-workers (in front of me and other tables), yelling "MOVE" to the bussers!?! Why do people like this have jobs in the service industry when they are so obviously miserable? I know you're late 40s and a waitress but don't stress me out because of it.
Get it together Zinque. I am not coming back.
