After retirement we decided to go from looking for New cars to used cars and we were very nervous about getting the right car at the right price.
We consider it our lucky day when Infiniti of Tacoma just happen to have the car we wanted.
We were so pleased with the professionalism and friendly way we were treated. After researching the vehicle we wanted, we were very pleased that the sales department gave us a very fair price for the car we purchased, as well as our trade. Did we get a "screaming deal"? No...but very, very fair.
Our salesman, Drew Staples was so accommodating and professional, we honestly believe he had our best interests at heart. The car was delivered "like new"; super clean with a full tank of gas. In addition, Drew's follow-up (just to see how we're doing) has been outstanding! This was a far better experience than some new cars we have purchased in the past.
My husband and I travel 150 miles (from Washington) every year to celebrate our anniversary at Ringside, and I have written rave reviews on their service, steaks, and amazing onion rings. Unfortunately, this year was a total miss. We always have early reservations, hence the restaurant was empty, and to our dismay they lead us to a center table (banquet) facing the kitchen door. (At most restaurants these tables are reserved for people without reservations.) My husband, of course, refused the table and they did seat us at a somewhat better table, but the damage had been done. You would hope that when you let them know that it is your anniversary that you would receive a better table and the reservations have been made weeks ahead of time. Oh well!
In fairness; we had a great meal (love those onion rings), and the service was good. Yet, we're not sure we'll be back. There are way too many wonderful restaurants in this world that will honor special nights without having to beg. Ringside, you're good, but you're not THAT good.
First of all, an absolutely amazing view! You're elevated and looking right down the harbor toward Mt. Rainier (when visible). During the warmer months there are several outside tables that offer an even better view. The restaurant is very well-designed with a comfortable bar (albeit small) where you can also eat. Tip: Be sure to call ahead to determine handicap access. Parking is in the rear and there are about 16 steps down (hence back up again) to the restaruant entrance.
The food: Ahhhhh, I had the braised beef. It was cut-it-with-a-fork delicious with carrots, string beans, and just the right helping of mashed potatoes. My husband had duck, which he loved (felt it was perfectly cooked). The rice - not so much (ask for potatoes instead). It's kind of a cool menu, in that you can order smaller plates and loads of appetizers that sound wonderful (check out their menu on-line)
The reason for 4 stars - not 5 is: It is a wine bar - not a full bar; that said, their wine list is a little weak. In addition, their service and how you're greeted and treated is more of a 2 star experience. Their food deserves better.
It was my lucky day when I found Camelot Living online! We live in Washington and had just built a huge deck and needed furniture. As there are a limited supply of furniture stores where we live in Gig Harbor we went online. When the prices looked so fair I decided to give them a call. What a treat!!! I spoke to a representative (Carlee) and she spent several hours on the phone with me going over dimensions and offering ways to save money on certain items.
Everything arrived just as I ordered and far better quality than I expected.
Thank you, thank you, Camelot Living
