Italian meals are always a good choice especially in Germany. Generally their Italian restaurants are very solid. Al Paladino is no exception. The atmosphere is especially nice and very comfortable. They provided a quick translation for a few of the dishes where my German was challenged.
I typically enjoy pasta dishes, however, this particular evening I tried a salad and a grilled salmon plate. The salmon had a very nice presentation being more thinly sliced and breaded before being grilled.
Service was solid.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 12. Juni 2016
It was a rainy day, and after our tours we were looking for something within walking distance of our hotel for dinner. A lot of restaurants seemed to be closed, except for this one!
Right away we were welcomed. They speak English very well and like to interact with their customers. This place is soo cute; Mini peony bouquets on the tables with candles and little chandeliers everywhere. This is a family owned business that has been around for 25 years.
Food was delicious. My brothers and I ordered pizzas and I asked if arugula could be put on top of my pizza - no questions asked! My mom ordered the seafood pasta special and she loved it. Nothing was too salty and portions were big for the price. Definitely glad we came :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jonathan M.Northbrook, Vereinigte Staaten27113413. Aug. 2019
Incredibly delicious and authentic Italian food that is across the street from the Sheraton Westpark and right on top of the Heimerplatz U-bahn station. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The service was warm, but not intrusive. The pricing was quite fair as well. I had the Salmone Griglia and it was outstanding. Even the Mista Salad was incredibly crisp, fresh and tasty. My colleagues had a mushroom risotto that I tried and it was amazing. I almost wish I had a side of it with my Salmone. It is quite a small place and not sure how they do reservations, but we were lucky to walk in and grab a table.

First of all: Wow!
This is easily the best Italian restaurant I have been to, for such a reasonable price. Great variety on the menu, fresh and high quality ingredients, friendly and welcoming staff, fast service, open late, and warm atmosphere. The pizza and pasta are off the hook. The crême brûlée was delicious and served with fruit! The portions are big! And they offer take-away and provide boxes for leftovers.
Easily my favorite restaurant in Munich, and will remain a long-time favorite!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Edward K.Tallahassee, Vereinigte Staaten01231. Juli 2017
Wonderful meal, attentive staff. Had dinner with German fiends at this wonderful neighborhood restaurant near the Sheraton Westpark. This is not a trendy part of Munich; solidly German and family and business oriented. There are many interesting restaurants in the area, but this one was recommended by our friends with whom we wanted to have dinner before returning to the States.
It was a warm evening and we sat outside at the sidewalk tables. After a glass of complementary Prosecco, we ordered: a beef and a salmon carpaccio as appetizers and pasta Fruti di Mare, veal and a steak for main courses. Every dish was delicious and the wine selection was also very good. We finished off the meal with desserts and left happy to see our friends after a wonderful meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Margo R.Gilbert, Vereinigte Staaten025313. Feb. 2020
One of the best dining experiences I have had-amazing food and our server was so engaging and made our dining experience truly memorable. We were on vacation in Munich and had to come back to Al Paladino twice! I highly recommend!

Al Paladino is my absolute favorite italian restaurant. I live in Munich since 2,5 years and I've never been to a better place to have high quality food for relative low prices. Plus, the service is super friendly. The cosy atmoshphere complete the overall picture.
However you should always make reservations in advance on weekends.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Luke C.Taipeh, Taiwan034. Mai 2016
First impression was very comfortable, and the service makes you feel like home. However, the food was~~a little poor execution. We ordered a seafood pasta, the portion was good, seasoning wasn't so bad, but but the langoustine was overcooked and the same with flounder.
overall, a decent place to visit. (PS; warm service! )Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Franco A.Chandler, Vereinigte Staaten11056020. Jan. 2015
Came in w/out a reservation for quick dinner. No openings, but if we ate w/in an hour, they would seat us at a table reserved in an hour. Owner started us w/complimentary tomato bisque...was delicious. I remember last year she also served us a free appetizer...very nice touch (i've eaten several times before where that's not happen so it's not an automatic deal). We split the salad with tuna fish, which was the best. Fresh everything, with a fried artichoke topping it off. Tuna was very nice. Friend had the pizza and I had the penne arrabiatta. Both were delicious. I needed chili oil to spice my penne up a bit more that was prepared, and my friend lived his mushroom pizza (it looked very good). Great experience and I highly recommend for a nice, quaint dinner.
