I don't often go to movie theaters, however I can greatly see the appeal of this location. Although it looks fairly small when you initially enter the theater believe me when I say that it packs a punch. The movie theater was very empty throughout my stay even though it was the opening day of Dune 2. However, you will not see me complaining. One of the main reasons that I enjoy this place is because it's not overly packed and you're less likely to hear screaming children during the show. The facility as a whole is also tidy, which I throughly enjoy. They also have a nice contemporary selection of snacks to enjoy during your movie.

As far as parking, I wouldn't advise that you park directly on the same street as the theater as you might end your movie with a parking ticket. However, there is parking available in the free union market parking area a few blocks away.

The only way I can describe this movie theater is... kind of like it shouldn't exist? Like it's a front for something else?

We went on a Friday night and found very few concessions, an almost empty theater with essentially all seats on the same level, and just a kind of run down environment. I'd so much rather go to an AMC, Cinemark, or Landmark.

This place is really cute but the theaters have very simple, no frills equipment and seating. The theater floors are completely flat so if anyone is sitting in front of you your view will be obstructed. My experience was fine since there were probably less than ten people in my screening.

I booked my ticket on the website. Super easy. You selected your movie, date & time, and seat. The price is only $9, well, at least for the 2 pm show on a Sunday.

The staff here are really nice! You have the option of checking in on a kiosk or with an employee. The employee said it was easier for him to just scan my qr code to get me checked in.

They have plenty of concessions to choose from. Hard drinks & soft drinks. Popcorn & Pretzels. Nachos & Hot dogs. Candy & more. Pretty much all the normal things at the theater. I got Prosecco, popcorn & pretzel for about $25. They made the popcorn fresh! So good, plus an extra butter station.

The auditorium was small, with about 7 rows, but clean. The seats are pretty basic yet comfortable. They designate space for wheelchairs, too.

I'll definitely be back with friends and family!

This place is like a motel of movie theaters... not fancy but gets the job done. It is reminiscent of "back in the day" theaters from the 90s with uncomfortable chairs, haha. Maybe I'm spoiled now with the new movie theaters and the reclining chairs, haha, but I guess you get what you pay for. Tickets are cheap - and literally no one checked them. I didn't see anyone working there the whole time we were there (not at concessions either, so we didn't get any food)... very strange vibes haha, but I got to see the movie I wanted so, like I said, got the job done, haha... solid 3 stars. Most likely won't be back...worth paying more for the comfy chairs in my opinion, haha.

This place is really cute. The theatre is quaint but that makes it feel kind of artsy and intimate. The snacks were good and fairly priced. Staff was friendly. Lots of free parking nearby which is super clutch! They serve alcohol. They also have a free screening once a month that I would like to check out soon. Seems like they do lots of fun little events and showings in addition to your regular first-run films.

I absolutely love this movie theater... it is very cool, I love the concept, the movie selection, the ambiance and the price.

I stopped going to movie theaters for a while, I found that $60 for 2 people including movie tickets plus some popcorn and a soda was a lot of money and thought that it was really difficult to explain such high cost.

However, Angelika is focused on the art and the movies, the rest is very basic, old theater chairs, and everything seems to be very simplified to achieve a "low cost" cinema. Like flying with Ryanair instead of United. Only that a very cool and 5-star service Ryanair. Therefore I started to go out for movies again!

I extremely recommend this cinema. I just love it!

Cute movie theater with small screening rooms and good sized screens. I sat in third row and watched comfortably - I think maybe even front row would not be too close. The seats aren't the recliners but they were fairly comfortable. I love that their popcorn is made in canola oil so my partner with a soy allergy can share it with me!

Such a cute theater in the heart of Union Market. My group was able to grab cocktails and food at Union Market then walk to this theater. Theater was not crowded so you have a nice, peaceful experience that feels more homey than going to a large theater. It was nice to see a premier movie and not have to worry about the noises and distractions that can happen at a normal theater.
