Obwohl nur wenige Tische besetzt sind und der Hauptansturm nach der Mittagszeit vorbei ist, braucht die Küche lange um zwei Ceasar Salate und eine Backkartoffel zu liefern. Immerhin schmeckt alles lecker. Die laute Musik im Café ist für uns etwas zu aufdringlich.

I hope the feedback I'm providing here will help the business in the long run. Not trying to harm anyone's business by any means, so this is all constructive criticism if the management is reading this.

The low ratings have nothing to do with the service, which I thought was actually friendly and hospitable. But what good is great service when the food is so sub-par?

I ordered the curry omelette and I was really looking forward to trying it. But the omelette was way overcooked, super dry, and lacking any real curry flavor. The salad that was served with it tasted awful with the oversaturated sauce that had no complementary flavors to the main dish. On top of that, the salad was just stale. I couldn't even finish it. And I was quite hungry!

I gave it an extra star because of the warm service, the music was well-chosen and I enjoyed it very much, and the atmosphere is overall warm and welcoming.

But, we come here to eat, and it was not such a great experience on that front.

Great lunch specials at reasonable prizes served by English speaking staff. The restaurant felt for some reason to be more traditionally German than some others in the neighborhood. It might have been the menu and clients. I certainly enjoyed the view of the street as well as my weiner schitznel.

This was the worst meal we had in Berlin. The food was sub par at best. I think everything was frozen---from the fried chicken patties to the shrimp to the Ore-Ida french fries. Both meals were an unfortunate spectacle of mediocrity. It took more than 40 minutes for this spectacular disaster to arrive and the place wasn't busy. To be fair, our waitress was awesome. She wan't to blame for the multiple missteps. But her efficiency wasn't enough---don't waste your time or money at Atlantic. There are far better places to eat. We would have been better off eating at McDonalds and I never eat at that dump.

In a good spot on the popular Bergmannstraße and the waiters seems sometimes quite friendly. The menu has a big selection of breakfasts but nothing was excellent so far.
What I didn't like was the smell of old cigarettes in the more rooms. It got a bit better when I sat right in front of the open terrace window.

The food is ok for a hungry stomach, but I definitely know better places..

Stopped by last night with another tourist and a cousin that has lived in Berlin for 10 years (3 people total). I would not recommend this place. Horrendous customer experience. I can't grade the food or drinks since the initial service graded us out...

It was raining so we wanted to get a snack and a drink: 1 cappuchino and 2 beers or cocktails. We sat outside, but no one came out. After 5 minutes, I went inside to see about service and get a menu. The waitress actually chipped my shoulder as I was standing there off to the side - not a huge deal. The bartender was busy talking to someone and I saw 2 menus on an empty table. I picked one up and as I was waking to the outside (covered) table, the waitress yanked the menu out of my hand and told me "Not for outside." I asked if the outside tables were theirs, she said "Yes." I said we have 3 people and showed 3 fingers to cut down on confusion. She walked away pretty curtly so I walked back to the table figuring she would come out with 3 menus. About 30 seconds later, she tossed 1 "outside" menu on an empty table 3 tables away from us (from my angle, I never even saw her hand). She never stuck her head out; never came our way. We waited about 5 min and I told our group I could not give Atlantic my business. My wife and I have been in Berlin for a week and never had a similar experience, so this behaviour is unique to this waitress / this estbishment (an employee IS a direct representarive of a business - no matter how busy or how bad of a day they may be having). We liked the area, but there were other options for us than this place. So we went to another place and really enjoyed there instead of the Atlantic.

Stopped in for lunch. Sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and well informed about the menu and made great suggestions. I started with a bowl of Maryland crab soup. It was lacking the crab and was very Acidy . More like tomato sauce than soup.
My husband ordered the fish tacos which were my my served with a very crispy avocado chips. It was a good choice can't go wrong with fish tacos.
I opted for the grilled salmon BLT this was served on Shibata bread with some sort of garlic a Oli came with kettle chips but I opted for fries. The shoestring fries were delicious. The sandwich was well cooked and very tasty. Next to me a woman order the fish and chips, it was enough food for a whole family. And the fellow at the end of the bar order the ultimate grilled cheese. Today's was Spätzle with Gruyere cheese and sauerkraut. It was a little over-the-top.
Definitely will return for order that fish and chips

Came here for lunch. The breakfast is pretty good try the pancakes. The cafe has character and the service is good.

Horrible Quality - Dont be fooled by the nice atmosphere - its ok to have a coffee here but dont eat here. I tried the food three times over the course of a few months because friends wanted to try the place. I felt terrible every time.

Ok but not the best ever. Price of food pretty ok, beers ok, cocktails around 7-8€- too expensive. We ordered appetizers and they were ok - the atmosphere was nice though, really like the area. Also the waitress was great. It is just that there are so many other really great places in the area.

A great cafe in the Kreuzberg kiez area. Right in the middle of everything.
