Die frischen Fischbrötchen im Take-Away-Geschäft - preislich gut, geschmacklich auch!

Die Speisen im Lokal - preislich sehr gut (im Verhältnis zu der gereichten Menge), geschmacklich bleibt auch nichts zu beanstanden. Überzeugt hat hier die superschnelle Herstellung der Speisen, auch der Thekenservice (Self-Service) bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung war sehr freundlich.

Frittierte Tintenfischringe mit Pommes - nicht übermäßig fettig, die Knoblauchsauce war echt super!

Das gebratene Schollenfilet mit Bratkartoffeln war auf den Punkt. Die Bratkartoffeln waren leider sehr fettig, dennoch waren diese in einem passablen Rahmen.

Es ist ein sehr schnelllebiges und lautes Restaurant, was zur Stärkung bei einem Innenstadtbummel nicht weiter tangiert, ein ruhiges Mittagessen fällt hier jedoch etwas schwer.

Resümee: Super Lokal mit moderaten Preisen, leckeren und wirklich üppigen Speisen und einem freundlichem Personal!

We took a stroll through the area after having just been to the North Sea. With a hungry kid in tow and a growing appetite, I stopped into this restaurant eager to try the fish that was displayed in the window.

We grabbed a bundle of smoked fish for charcuterie and while I didn't have any, everyone else seemed to enjoy it!

Our orders for dining-in included fish and chips, fresh backfisch sandwich and nuggets and chips for my son. Overall, the food was alright but I felt a little let down when I realized the fish for the fish and chips was frozen in a bag versus coming from the display of fresh fish. I felt like I could make the same thing at home. My friends were very happy with the backfisch sandwich and couldn't believe it only cost €3.

Either way, the food tasted fine and the beers were cold. If you're looking to escape the windy weather, it's a decent place to stop in and grab a quick bite/drink.

We had some fish and chips, as well as Krabbensuppe (shrimp soup). The soup was quite disgusting, tasted like very artificially thickened broth with a ridiculously small asking of shrimp floating in it. The fish and chips was alright, definitely industrial but cooked OK and the fries were good. The beer was cold.

We also bought done smoked fish which we haven't tasted yet but looks quite good. I'll update if it's not.
