Es war mal DAS Café in der Innenstadt. Leider sind diese schönen Zeiten vorbei. Der Kuchen war noch immer lecker. Die Einrichtung ist jedoch sichtlich in die Jahre gekommen und die jungen Leute im Service scheinen allesamt Studenten zu sein. Sie tun, was sie ohne Anleitung können...
So wird meine leere Kaffeetasse abgeräumt, aber eine Nachfrage, ob ich noch einen weiteren Kaffee möchte, gibt es nicht.
Also eher Aufräumservice als Gästeservice.

A below average coffee: coffee comes from automats and doesn't taste good, in the menu it reads fresh orange juice but you get a Granini instead.

The Bormuth coffee shop is situated above the bakery, so if you don't want to sit outside, you need to walk past all the bread and cakes and head for the stairs.


It's a traditional coffee shop, but it does do the more modern styles of coffee. I go here when I have achey cakey pangs and a bit of time to spare. It's waitress service, so don't be in too much of a hurry. It's the kind of place where people meet up for the whole morning, not for a quick caffeine fix. They also offer light lunches and breakfast, and the good news is that breakfast is on offer till closing time.

We often have breakfast here when we're in town. Prices are very reasonable and the lunch portions are huge. We usually ask for one meal shared between two. They're very happy to oblige and serve it on two plates. Nice friendly service, highly recommended.
