Butlers

Bin bekennender "Butlers"-Fan.
Egal, in welcher Stadt man ist,
das gibt einem immer so ein Zuhause-Gefühl.
Den Laden am Hackeschen Markt finde ich aufgrund seiner Größe und Auswahl besonders gelungen.
Hier gibt es wirklich alles, was das Krimskramsherz begehrt.
Witzige Ideen zu günstigen Preisen.
Wenn mir mal so gar kein Mitbringsel einfallen will - hier finde ich immer was.

Hackescher markt is a smallish public square in Berlin. The reason we went there is that it is one of the starting places for the Original Berlin Walking tours (in English) - well worth going on the tour.


The Markt is right on a train station so very easy to get to. The train station building is very pretty (for train stations), and the markt is lined with cafes, bars, restuarants and shops (some souvenirs, some clothing).


On Saturday mornings, there is a small market there with clothes, handmade items (bags, dresses, felt hats), as well as other trinkets.


The Markt is a good place to start walking to Museum Island (approx 5 minutes away). I wouldn't say it is a destination you would go to just to see it, however it is a nice square that adds to the charm of Berlin.
