Fantastic joint popular with students here in Freiburg-
We came here for lunch as this is a favorite spot for my bosses who say they come here at least once a week when it's summer.
Good value and even better Tapas... far better then any tapas place I've been to in Germany- they have a great wine selection too!


The service is good and fast- the first dishes of our food arrived within five minutes.


I personally recommend crusty bread with garlic aoli and the sizzling clay dishes of fat prawns in hot garlic oil!! Soooo good!

This joint is popular with Spanish truckers coming up from Spain. Food is good (try the shrimps), wine too of course. Low key, a bit noisy, and easy to stumble out of at the end of the night. Was my second favorite bar while I lived in Freiburg. (They never threw me out.)

Great meeting place when you have friends that are always late. easy to find off the tram. Waiting for an hour is nothing at this tapas bar, slow service, big beers, and enough options to keep you occupied. And before you know it who ever you were waiting for is there, and the large barking dog next to you isn't a problem any longer.
