An excellent, little tapas bar tucked away off the main Konstablerwache square in central Frankfurt. My girlfriend and I went then on the recommendation of a friend and really enjoyed our meal. Without a reservation, you may struggle to find a seat, but if you go early or have your booking, then you'll definitely enjoy the food.

Downstairs there is a very cozy, pub-like feel where live football is shown and the place really packs out during La Liga matches on television. Don't even try to wedge yourself into the throng during Real or Barca matches!

Upstairs there is a more open dining room with plenty of tables. They have some TVs there too, showing sports, but it's more of a dining room than a bar feel.

We tried the full range of tapas: chorizo, calamares, manchego cheese, pimientos de padron, patatas bravas, tortilla, gambas al ajillo and lots more. Needless to say we were stuffed. The food was excellent and the staff were quick and friendly.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some great tapas in Frankfurt.

I never go out to eat Spanish food because I make the best at home :-) but.... if I crave it and I don't want to cook, I go here. It is the real deal, bar with old clientele, typical food, pulpo a la gallega, pimientos del padron, croquetas, boquerones, Estrella gallega. Don't order a paella....

Authentic. It looks, smells, and tastes just like going to my in-laws...expect mother-n-law is better of course (the wife will see this review). Ha. Pulpo cooked right. Stick with the excellent variety of tapas and plates, and I'd pass on the paella. Drink, eat, and laugh...Spanish style.

The gambas and the chorizo were both good - buth these are such basic tapas, practically no sane adult could do it wrong. The pulpo ruined the experience because it tasted like paper with oil and lemon and the texture felt like it's been dead in the fridge for 4 days.

We also ordered a carafe of sangria. My shrink advised me never to repress my feelings so as much as I don't want to talk about it anymore, i have to say it: it's boxed wine with 2 ice cubes and a sad amount of "fruit" slices. Don't ask.

Food is mostly processed, and lacking depth in flavour. Got the calamari and crab legs, and it tasted frozen. The meat platter is not bad but just tastes like oil.

Within frankfurt, this is possibly one of the best places to eat galician, or spanish in general. I love spanish food, but pulpo and seafood clearly do taste better in a fisher village than it can in frankfurt ;) They have large tables, but it is a good idea to book and to get there early. You can smoke downstairs, but not upstairs. House red wine is good, pulpo is good.

This little restaurant is hidden in some alley off the shopping strip. I found it using yelp. the food is excellent. But the problem is that they only had one waitress who speaks little english serving the whole crowd. But the service was not bad and was pretty quick. It gets crowded when a game is on. The prices are not cheap as I ordered 3 tapas and 1 glass of wine and it came out to about 30 euros. The food is authentic for sure.

This a very authentic spanish restaurant. The food is simple but very good (I particularly recommend the pulpo a la gallega) and the price/quality ratio is unbeatable. The wine menu is limited but the prices are good (for Frankfurt) and you can savor a good glass of Rioja or Rivera del Duero. Service is informal and yet kind, treating you like a friend. Would definitely recommend.

What a really disappointing experience this was. A couple of people have told me that the CCG had good, authentic food. Maybe, I have no idea about Spanish food, but the few times I've been to Spain, even the worst places I've been to were better than this. Why? The Tortilla Jamon was nothing more than scrambled eggs with Jamon. For all I know, a Spanish Tortilla has potatos, obviously not so at the CCG. Then the potatos French Fries. Excuse me, but what is Spanish about these? Every mediocre Tapas Bar has Batatas Bravas in the menu sometimes mediocre-tasting as well. The French Fries at the CCG were great, but I don't need to go to a Tapas Bar for that. Admittedly, the Gambas a la Plancha and the plate with Jamon, chorizo and Manchego were good, but at this hit rate, I am sorry, I am not coming back.
And then the wine yesterday was a hot summer night. They have a wonderful Rioja house wine and when it came to the table, it was warm like a Gluehwein. OK, normally red wine is served at room temperature, but if the room temperature hits 30C you'd better do sth. to get the red wine chilled as well. I had to do sth. which I normally totally distaste: ask for an icecube to put it in the wine. Otherwise, it was unbearable, this way, I could at least enjoy the wine.
To end on a good note, the service was friendly and the place itself has a down-to-earth look, but I can not recommend coming here.
