Cologne Souvenirs

The owners are extremely rude. I made purchase then came back with my daughter because they had something she was looking for. As she inspected tile trivets for defects, owner raised his voice to my grown adult daughter and " What's the problem they are all the same."
Meanwhile he doesn't realize that there were 2 different styles.
I stated as walking out the door if I would have said this to my customers when I owned a gift shop, I would not have been in business for 23 years. only because of what my daughter wanted was at this shop. we would have walked out and gave them a nasty jeste.

Rude.
The shop looks to have some really interesting souvenirs from outside but as we entered the store we were shouted at by a man behind the counter "No No No" pointing at our pushchair.
There was no explanation or apology which you'd think would be given at the very least in German - my partner speaks some German so could have understood any issue.
We left and spent our money elsewhere.

I was really surprised by what happened to us in such modern western city, Here is my story to share: Last Sat we brought our guests who came from the U.S for a visit in Koln, together we have 4 adults with two children, walking on the street we found this interesting shop and wanted to get inside, right before we get in, the owner stop us at the front door and ask us to put the hands in the pocket, we were treated like shoplifters, there were some other tourists also inside the shop, but none of them were Hands in the pockets, I tried to ask the shop owner why is that, and he just shot the door and forbidden us to came inside, I wonder, is that because we are Asian, ( inside the shop, all th custemers were westerners) , the whole situation really left us angers and uncomfortable feelings. I would not recommend anybody for this unfriendly shop!
