Top notch steakhouse. They employ the black stone cooking system which is to say you get a hot stone and cook each bite at a time. Great food, great service and, of course, great beer! Yes, I had pizza since I have overdosed on meat this past two weeks-no way I could have had another steak.

When I've traveled to Frankfurt I sometimes stayed in Zeppelinheim or Raunheim. I discovered this restaurant many years ago. Always good steak on the hot stone! Highly recommended!!

Best Argentine steaks when in Germany we would eat there steak on a rock! Always delicious

Loved this place, with the exception of the underpour on my JD. Veli the guy from dersin/turkey steered me on every turn and I had a 5star experience. Tesek kur!

Based on several visits, the Corner Steakhouse has a great food and drink menu, good service, with excellent tasty dishes at reasonable prices.
I would happily return when in the FRA Airport area again.

Lovely restaurant near our hotel ( Holiday Inn Express). Highly recommending the steak. The way they present that is quite original. You will be sure that is going to be fresh. Also you can choose if you'd like it rare , medium or otherwise. Just need to be careful with the hot stone.

First day in Germany and stopped in for dinner. I ordered the seasoned lamb and a mixed salad. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. Definitely a great first impression of Raunheim

Well known Steakhouse, particularly popular with Americans and others working at Flughafen and surrounding logistics companies. Highlight is the steaks on a lava stone concept. The Ziegelhütte hasn't changed a bit since the first time I visited in the early 90's. Decor is drab, rustic, and reminds one of any of a million Kneipen in Germany which were decorated by Oma in the 70's.


I reduce points because the Pilsner is Henninger. Otherwise they have bottled Weizen, a bottled Alt, and bottled dark Czech beer. Wine list is Überschaubar i.e. a few, simple wines.


The restaurant offers Italian fare similar to any normal pizzeria. The real atttraction of this place are the lava stone steaks. The steaks are served raw on a square stone which has been heated to something like 700 degress Fahrenheit (not exactly something for small kids). Basically you slice off pieces of steak and then flip them around on the stone until cooked. It's quite an amusing dining experience.


I would not compare the steaks to top end steak houses in Frankfurt for example. I don't think they're dry aged. Still, meat quality is pretty good . Frankly though, if it weren't for the lava stone gag, there wouldn't be much to recommend this place other than to meet other English speakers.
