I found this place not by accident or word of mouth but through a Daily Deals website. I went with some co-workers and I had the best experience in any restaurant I have ever been to in Hamburg, period.
To start the service was outstanding! The owner was actually out there helping seat, serve, and take orders. He also recommended and described dishes in great detail. The atmosphere is also nice, its modern decor and prefect size made everything even better.
The food was absolutely delicious. The steak literally melted in your mouth. You could cut the steak with your fork it was that tender! I had a 300g Rib Eye, Green Beans, and a Baked Potato. The green beans looked like they had been cooked on a grill and bathed in herb butter. The wine that was recommended was just the cherry on top.
Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse and you could get a good steak for under 20€. I would defiantly recommend this place and will also be returning several times! It's a hidden gem in Hamburg since it's not on any main walkway or near any train stops but still very easy to find. The Menu is devided in 1. the cut of meat, then 2. vegetables, 3. etc. (can't remember what that was, Sorry) So you decide what you want with what. Heaven. Great vino. Lovely

We came here last night for a company dinner and we had a really great meal.
A starter of carpaccio then a really really good steak cooked to perfection. A final course of chunks of Parmesan. Good wine too but most of all was great service and attention from our waiter.
I have been in hamburg for nearly two months and it was the best place I have been to so far.

A friend who travels to Hamburg often and around the world recommended this spot as the best steakhouse in the city. I would have to say it is the best I have been to in general. The steaks are from different countries, divided by cut and size. My 200g fillet was perfectly medium rare. Sides are sold separately. We had a wonderful starter of peppers, sausage and another of giant prawns. Both made a lovely presentation. I would highly recommend this spot based on the high quality and exceptional service. It is better to have a reservations because this is a popular spot!

Went here with a large group of folks after a 14 hour journey from the US, this is pretty biased because at that point you could have probably put a ham sandwich in front of me and it would have tasted the same.
I had a bit of difficulty ordering my steak in grams because the only gram I know it usually in relation to illegal substances, and the comparison to raw meat doesn't do it too wellso for us non-metric folks, don't order the 100g like I gotit's super tiny.
I went with the house salad, which was not covered in jogurt sauce (thank you, thank you, thank you!) and contained a bit more than just the German staple of iceberg lettuce and canned corn.

Showed up right when they opened for dinner service with 2 co workers. Service was excellent and were accommodated without a reservation. Seating is semi limited so we will make a reservation from now on just in case.
Steaks: I had the tenderloin and my two coworkers had the ribeye. All of us agreed they were some of the top steaks we'd ever had and immediately made plans for our next meal here.

Went here with some colleagues for dinner last night. We had tried the [m]eatery the week before (which was quite amazing), but Estancia Steaks is even better! I had to convince my friend to come here and try something new instead of his to-go place called the Slaughterhouse. He was not disappointed. The inside part of the venue is quite small and modern. Almost sterile. But if you eat outside in the Afrikahaus courtyard, it's magical. (I believe the courtyard is only available in the summer). Staff is extremely friendly and the food speaks for itself. You order your meat as well as your separate sides and a steak topping of your choice (herbed butter, au jus, cafe Paris spread, etc). I got the 350g boneless grass-fed ribeye from Scotland, medium-rare, potatoes with bacon, sauteed mushrooms and au jus. Everything was out of this world. The meat almost melted in my mouth. My French colleague ordered it near raw (French style) and it was amazing as well. The quality of the meat here is second to none.
