Fine + Mine

Absolutely horrible. Claimed I had stolen some bed sheets, which is completely ridiculous! Why would I steal some used crappy bed sheets to bring back with me to my own house? They claimed that because the bed sheets were so special, they were entitled to keep an 1100 euro deposit.

I wish everybody would check Yelp before looking for a place to stay in Berlin to avoid these criminals, who do everything they can to take advantage of anyone visiting Berlin.

Contact them and you will see that "ignoring, forgetting and not paying attention to customers" is their almost achieved GOAL!
Still waiting for them to return my call (almost 40 days!).

We had a TERRIBLE experience with them - EXTREMELY AGGRAVATING AND FRUSTRATING. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! ABSOLUTELY *NOT* RECOMMENDED!!

1. The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived. They said it wasn't their fault and not their responsibility. It took many phone calls and e-mails to get it cleaned.

2. They promised us two sets of keys, but there was only one set. They said it wasn't their responsibility. It was *very* inconvenient having to manage our schedules with only one set of keys between two people. It took 10 days to get the second set. They seemed entirely unconcerned about this. And when the second set was finally available, they didn't deliver it to us, I had to go up to their office to collect it.

3. Generally, they only respond when it suits them - they ignore most e-mails and phone calls.

4. Beware - you will pay FAR more than the stated price. There are many additional charges and fees, which are not listed anywhere on the website. They surprise you with this when you're ready to sign the contract.

5. At the end of our 5-week rental, they told me they would return our security deposit in two weeks. Needless to say it didn't arrive. They ignored most of our phone calls and e-mails. Finally we got a German-speaking friend to help. It took her *many* phone calls and visits, and finally we got the deposit back after two months. (Of course they didn't have the courtesy to inform us about this).

a. And even then, they took an additional 130 Euros cleaning charge, even though we had already paid 190 Euros for two cleanings during the 5 weeks. They never informed us there was a problem - it took our friend a lot of effort to get any response from them at all.

AVOID THIS AGENCY AT ALL COST. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

In eight months I did not get a single tenant through them. I got several myself. Ask them to manage it and they did not even bothered to respond. Asked at least for my keys and did not respond either. Three clients lost. After talking to them they convinced me about the changes and I decided to give them a rather generous and simple contract. Disaster. They even kept the money for cleaning the apartment.
