Frankfurter Küche

I love French onion soup and will order it anywhere that offers it. So, I was so excited to travel to France and get the real deal! We were in Frankfurt one day before and after our France trip and this place was recommended to us our 1st night for dinner by the man working the front desk at our hotel as a great place to get traditional German food. They ended up having onion soup on the menu and it is the best I've ever had... I had 2 more bowls at 2 separate restaurants IN FRANCE and they did not compare. Seriously, if you're a French onion fan, go here.

Outside of the soup, I ordered a jagerschnitzel and it was delicious. It's 2 pieces of schnitzel with gravy, mushrooms and the best little potatoes ever. Also, comes with a salad.

Servers were good and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone traveling to Germany and will be back if I'm ever here again :)

Wow! Delicious food. I had Gebratene Tafelspitzwürfel mit grüne Soße. I could not believe how good that was. This restaurant would get 5 stars from me if the server were a little nicer. She was rude even by German standards. But you can't hold everyone accountable for the actions of one individual. This restaurant has amazing food and a really cool atmosphere. I was with some friends so I tried a few bites of their meals as well. One had a huge steak that was really good despite the fact that it was cooked medium instead of medium rare. The reason that happened is because that rude server never bothered to ask how my friend wanted it. My other friend had a salad topped with fried feta cheese. All I can say is the fried feta cheese was absolutely mouthwatering. Definitely check this place out if you are visiting Frankfurt.

Tasty authentic German food. I ordered the Frankfurter platter and the wurst's did not disappoint. My favorite was the black pudding. Wait staff was fast. Be prepared to share your table with strangers as the restaurant can be busy and has a lot of large family style tables.

We stopped in here for an early Sunday dinner and couldn't resist the schnitzel.

My wife has the Jager schnitzel and I had the regular schnitzel.
We both really enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend the Frankfurt Kitchen to anyone looking for good authentic food.

We were stay in a hotel nearby and had a hard time finding a place that would be open at 10:30pm on a Tuesday. Luckily we found this place and the host was happy to accommodate us. He suggested we try the schnitzel with a salad and fries. I had the turkey one and my friends pork. We settled in with a couple of beers.The salad was impressive... endives, greens, cucumber... pleas a t surprise but thought there was too much creamy dressing. Great presentation. HUGE portion of schnitzel... could barely finish it (and my tongue was pretty numb). I'm not a huge fan of schnitzel (kinda bland imho) but it was totally fine. Great service and very accommodating.
