Super fun pub! We didn't speak German and it was a very local bar. The people and staff were very nice. Great beer. It was hard to find, we almost left and realized it was set back in a courtyard and we had to take stairs down to get in. Went back 2x while staying in Wedding/Berlin.

If you want to have an old school Berlin experience go here. It's wonderful when it's hot and there's good weather and you can sit outside, but inside it has its charm too. The inside reminds me of some old pubs in Prague. Beers are great, they rotate some of them depending on the season of the year so you always get to try something new. Pro tip: order the Flammkuchen

This place is so cool! My girlfriend and I were visiting from the U.S. and my girlfriend's sister's boyfriend lives in Berlin and just absolutely swore by this place as the best beer garden in Berlin. He was so right!

First, and most importantly, their beer is AMAZING. Germans know their beer and this place is true to that.

Secondly, the atmosphere is fantastic on a warm, summer day. One can sit outside on picnic-tables amongst many of local Berliners(?) and enjoy a tall beer.

Lastly, one can bring their own food! Our kind host absolutely spoiled us with a great German spread and paired with this fine venue, it made for my favorite night in Berlin. Excellent place to visit! Prost!

Totally unassuming and well worth the trip! Kind of hard to see from the outside, but once you get in, it's awesome. Go down to the bar inside, order some drinks, and plant yourself on the courtyard outside. Great beer, not pretentious, and chill. Loved this platz!

This is such a great small brewery!

It has been established by the brewers of Technische Universität Berlin and that is why they are located there in Wedding.
I must say I do not like the area, but I was so surprised and happy to find this small brewery!

They have lots of seasonal beers and some standards, the prices are very fair! I added the menu in the fotos section.

For lovers of something stronger than beer I saw they had quite some sorts of whisky and Obstler.

You can have a snack there too: the Flammkuchen are really good! You should definitely try!

Since I don't like the new branding and the beers of the my ex-favorite brewery Lemkes Brauhaus, I think this will be the place I will go for some good freshly brewed beer.

I made it in time for the freshly tapped Weizenbock. Bananas yes!

Tried the Dunkel as well and it was great.
Make the effort to visit here if you are in Berlin and you like proper beer. It's awesome.

Micro brews in the US saved beer for me. Made it interesting and something I wanted to drink. So when I read about this micro brew in Berlin, it was on my must do list. Plus, the brew master seems dedicated to making flavorful and fun brews.

They typically have 3 beers they've created and these rotate a bit. Right now the seasonal is more like ales I typically drink and I loved it. I would go back for that beer in a moment. The other fun thing is they distill whiskey and make hard cider as well. The trisect of the drinking world! You got to love it.

There is a large set of outside seats, so on a nice day it is perfect. Grab some take away from a nearby khabab place and then come here for the drink. Can't go wrong.

It is a little hard to find, so follow the signs and check your GPS, but the journey is worth it!. Get out to Wedding and try something besides a pilsner my

The best apple juice! Nice terrace/beer garden. Bring your own snacks or eat their delicious flatbreads....nice staff....And of course great beer....can it get any better?

Extremely nice place, with good staff and good beers.
It is possible to bring your own food there and the beers change each 15 days. I think I will have to return many times there.
They make their own whiskey too but I haven't tried so far.

I found this brewery/beergarden when I was checking out my neighborhood, so I decided to give it a try... I was really happy that I discovered such a gem! They have a small selection of beer ( pilsener, wheat, dark) and a seasonal brew, also homemade whisky and apple juice... The outside area is really nice and simple. But the best thing is actually that you can bring your own food and have a picnic!
I wish they would also offer some kind of bar food, other than frozen tarte flambée and pretzels.
