Hotel NH Collection München Bavaria

A Spanish based hotel chain that adjusts decor based on the region. For DE, looks like they took a Modern approach.

We had a two night stay. Check-in was seamless. They offered drink coupons if you opted out of the room cleaning service. On site restaurant with breakfast as well Bar and an inviting lounge area with a faux fireplace.

Room was a good size with outlets by the beds. Mini Bar and a Safe were available. Rain shower head and anti fog mirror were nice touches. Exercise room had newer equipment (both Cardio and Weights) and was always clean.

Ivana and Christina from Guest Services we're amazing! Helped us book a last minute City tour and helped with multiple site directions and tips. The central Station is right next door and we found a breakfast spot just steps away with a famous Biergarten (Augustiner) about a 10 minute walk away.

Overall, staff was service minded and took good care of us. we enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this NH.

This review is strictly for the bar located in the lobby of this hotel. We had such an unexpected fabulous night at this bar thanks to the awesome bartender and some sweet Scottish guys. They have a wide selection of wine, champagne and spirits at this bar with reasonable prices. The bartender even brought us some berries to go with our bottle of champagne. He spoke English very well and recommended us some places to check out in Munich. If you are in the area I highly recommend checking out this bar!!

BEWARE TRAVELERS. If I could have given zero stars I would have. We had very expensive, prepaid reservations for Oktoberfest in Munich. NH Hotels says the cancellation of the whole Oktoberfest festival by the German government does not qualify for refunding of prepaid reservations. (And they didn't even offer a rescheduling option!). I have reached out to the hotel and Corp HQ multiple times - answer from their Customer Care is "sorry". What in the world would qualify if not this pandemic?

DO NOT book any rooms with them!!!

I arrive to the hotel with no problems at check in I did reserve 2 rooms for my family of 5 one of the rooms they were not aware of the extra bed but they did fix it for me but my surprise was when I try to use the A/C and it wasn't working I when down to ask the nice girls that help me at check in and she ask her supervisor ( Mr. Adrian Bogdan ) to help but he told me there is nothing wrong with the A/C with out checking and told me hotel set their ac's depending on temperature outside and if I don't like it I can find an other hotel . Horrible customer service
